Video : Happy Everything for an Uptown Girl!

Playing at Scrapbook Boutique today and these Faber Castell Gelatos have mammoth colour and that’s  coming from someone who doesn’t like to get her fingers dirty….      I’m so in the wrong job and  so have the wrong hobby lol!  I’ve been on the fence for a while about Gelatos, and finally took the plunge, there are so many fun techniques and I can’t wait to try some more (with gloves?)!

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

  1. Really nice card Therese. I must try that with the fun foam. I had given up on using as it flattens out and distorts so much and have been using just for height on cards, thanks for that tip. Love the orange in your embossing paste, I just found some gelatos at of all places Big W so I need to try doing something with them. This card looks so pretty, love the Stamping Bella girls, they really make beautiful images for cards. Your colouring is so spot on too.

  2. I love all the texture you achieved with the paste and the bold color is fabulous, Therese! Really fun card, beautiful coloring, and perfect sentiment! Love it to pieces!

  3. Wow! I have had gelatos for ages and not thought to use them like this. I love the effect you have got – I thought it was patterned paper to start with. Great colour combination too. Fabulous! Cx

  4. Amazing card Therese, and thank you for the video!
Great tip about the foam sheets, I just had that “distorting” issue yesterday, so I feel more encouraged to use foam for interact dies again 😀

  5. My gelato have been unused since the day I bought them a year ago and the fun foam sentiment such a great idea. Beautiful card and the techniques are awesome thanks soon much for those tips.
