Video : Altenew Whimsical Flowers.

Today is a day for Whimsical Flowers from Altenew, and this is the first time I’ve used them on a card and am hooked!  LOVE that they have a solid and an outline stamp with matching dies too, the possiblitlies are endless.  Today I share a fun and easy shading technique.

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

  1. I must admit to having those and not using them yet Therese :O I must get them out, in fact, I think my new year’s resolution should be to use more of my crafting goodies that are, as yet, untouched! Love the card and I love your videos! Have a lovely day and a terrific Christmas and New Year in 2016! Hazel xx

  2. So fresh and bright, Therese! LOve the acetate layer, and have been so looking forward to your impression of the Altenew inks … they are on my list! Their Jet Black actually stamped this well on acetate!? I’m excited about that! Thanks once more for playing cards with me at Muse! xx

  3. Such a pretty card, Therese! The acetate panel is so clever, and really makes your flowers pop! I just bought a few Altenew inks, and love the crisp effect 🙂

  4. Gorgeous card. Must try that technique of adding dimension with pencil. I purchased some Gamsol recently so I have no excuse! Enjoy the weekend it’s going to be a hot one 🙂

  5. Gorgeous card Therese – the use of the acetate was a surprise and makes such a difference! Love the tip of shading over stamping, and your feedback on the inks. Fab tutorial!

  6. Beautiful card Therese, I’m waiting for my new inks to arrive and now Christmas is past for cards that is I would like to start playing again with the Altnews. Love how you have used them here, and the glittery middles just wonderful.
