The challenge was to use Small Stamps at the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine, so out came these sweet cakes from Penny Black.
Which one would you eat?

Third row, left side! Or the one the wiener dog ran with! So cute, Therese!!
=]
XD love the little sausage dog!!!
I’ve been following you for quite a long time and have never commented because I’m just not a commenter. Today, however, I HAD to say something. I’m so amazed at how talented you are, Therese, and very much appreciate the time you take to share your craft. I always look forward to your posts! Oh, as to which one of these sweets would I eat? All of them!!
So funny how the dog is running off with one. This must have been fun to color.
Reblogged this on Spreading Sunshine with Paper & Ink and commented:
Therese has a choice for us, :)! I want the pie! That little puppy balancing the cupcake is SO adorable! Great card!
Super cute..I had a kind of idea to use the tiny cakes from the penny Black stamps too..they are so cute…
I would love to have a bite of the cupcake I think….
LOVE, love, love it! The dog running away is soooo fun! By the way you were mentioned at our retreat – we were saying how wonderful it would be to have you there! A bit to far away, but let me know if you ever come to Melb!
So ADORABLE, Therese! I love how you framed out all those yummy treats, and your pup ‘nosing’ the cupcake is hilarious! Thanks for making me smile…oh, and anything chocolate works for me 🙂
Therese, this is phenomenal. would love to know a bit ore on how you created the shelves and frame. FANTASTIC – and BTW, I would like to try them all – LOL
A fab card.
Thanks for reminding me/us to use the smaller stamps in our sets – they do often get over looked for the bigger prominent stamps.
I couldn’t choose one – I’d probably eat too many! 🙂 Gone are the days when I could eat a piece of everything on the dessert bar and still be a size 6.
Thanks for this adorable card! Can you tell me how you made the frame? I ove how you used shading behind the cakes, and the paper piece to make it look like a shelf. Great job!
The frame was easy to make, I simply cut two long pieces of cardstock the same width (it can be any size, whatever I want the window frame to be). Then I line up a vertical with a horizontal and make a mark with a pencil on the inside corner and outside corner of the horizontal and then I can cut it on the angle. I do this for each corner and simply add some glue to the part of the frame that will be underneath. Not sure if I’ve actually done a video, and I can’t find one… please let me know if I should add it to the list of ‘video’s to do’. Thanks so much for your visit today and for your lovely comments, Hugs Therese
I always have such a hard time working with small scale images, but here you go showing off! That little doggy stealing off with a cupcake takes the show!
. . . ALL of them! 😉 such a cute design Therese! A great idea for using our much neglected small stamps! Have a lovely week! Hazel xx
My Card Attic
This is such a sweet card boom boom – but seriously the design is awesome and I love the little dog running away with his choice of treat. If it was me, I would choose the choc cake with the turquoise icing 🙂
All the treats look yummy. That’s one lucky dog 😊
Yum, Therese … so fun and so cute … that cake toting little dog is fabulous! Which sweet treat … I’m partial to chocolate ones … so any of those would be scrumptious, thanks! Hugs, Anita 🙂
oh so cute Therese. I love how you made your bakery.
That little pup takes the cake on your fabulous card!

So adorable! That little dog balancing a cupcake is so much fun! Love how you created the shelves, too.

I would eat them all and chase the dog for that one too. Darling card.
Such an original concept superbly executed as usual! Love this card – if there is a cheesecake on a shelf, I would take that one!
Yum, this make me think of the little pastry shops in France. I love that little naughty dog with the cupcake, my dog Nutella would do the same!
This is so cool !!! LOVE your card Therese !
Love this… great way to use all those small cake stamps 🙂 I bet that cheeky little dog will be back for another too 😉
