Video : Altenew monochromatic (almost) bird – By Request

Today I have a video for Scrapbook Boutique and I had some requests to show how I made this card HERE , so I’m using some different products but basically getting the same look.  I thought it would also be a nice idea to change up the colour of the bird, maybe a teal green / blue or even a green would look nice, what do you think?

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

  1. Beautiful card, so subtle, but the technique makes it extra special. I love the thickness of the frame, perfect for the size of the flowers so you don’t lose the detail. Thank you for the video tutorial as well.

  2. This card is beautiful Therese. I’ve only tried this technique a few times and need more practice! Thank you for sharing the process you used. I have to try this again! By the way, your coloring is so pretty!

  3. Guess what arrived in my mailbox today, Therese?! OH am I happy to have this as an absolutely fabulous inspiration! Just too beautiful! You’ve created a lovely Nuthatch here – in my favorite colors, too!

  4. Thank you for sharing this video, Therese. The subtle grays, with one pop of red are just lovely for this sympathy card. I might have to add these stamps to my wish list, and definitely those wonky dies. Wonderful card.

  5. Beautiful card Therese. Love your colouring and the way you have done this. I was able to get the square dies like these not the rectangle, all sold out boo hoo.

  6. Gee this is gorgeous, Therese. I thought you’d have to be re stamping etc to get the images across the frame, but you did it much more simply. ☺

  7. Just saw this on Pinterest and wanted to tell you that you need to recreate it anew! It is so beautiful and I think folks would love to see it again!

  8. Hi Therese. Was looking through Pinterest and my heart almost stopped! This is the most beautiful, delicate, stunning card!!! Love everything about it. Thanks so much for sharing – needed a reminder about stamping and making a frame. Love your beautiful soft colour choices – as I said, STUNNING!
