Back with another video today and I decided to do a little bit of ‘no line watercolouring’. This gorgeous Poppy Gem stamp from Penny Black is quite large so I decided not to complicate my colouring too much and kept it fairly simple. I like the subtle tones but it could do with a couple more layers of colour, to add a bit of depth, but it still took me 1 1/2 hours to create, so what started simple…. lucky this is how I love to spend my time lol.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Not so sure on the bow ether, although I do like the gold highlight…. maybe a gold strip of cardstock would have worked better, what do you think?
Hope your day is turning out to be an awesome one, Hugs

I agree, it’s beautiful! I like the bow, it seems to tie in beautifully. I have been wanting to try this technique out but I have not yet been brave enough!!

I have to smile when you laugh in your videos! Thank you.
Wow, what a lovely card and inspiring colour choice! Love how you watercolour the flowers!
This is just so pretty, you picked the perfect colors and watercolored it very well. I have not had a huge amount of luck with the no line watercolor, but I may just have to try to find a similar sized image and give it another try. The blue you used for the sky is really nice. TFS!
So beautiful. Those blues are so calm and serene, and I love them on this card. And the poppies…stunning. I do like the gold thread, too; it works well with your colors and the delicate poppy stems. Fantastic card!!! Love this.
So unbelievably gorgeous Therese.
What a beauty, Therese … simply stunning exactly as it is … so perfect! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Loving your colour choice, that blue adds to the fresh airy feel. Love watching you watercolour x
I’m in love ! This is one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen, so dreamy, wistful, playful ahhhhhhhh.

Really pretty. Such a lovely and calm colour scheme. I haven’t tried no line colouring yet – I think I’ll have to leave it to the real artist’s such as yourself!
Absolutely gorgeous 🙂
I would NOT change a single thing, Therese! just so beautiful!!!
