Video : Distress Ink Penny Black Butterfly panel!

I am just sitting here wondering just how I possibly survived in my stamping life ‘pre MISTI’.  After years of stamping I am an ‘alright’ stamper but now it doesn’t matter and for today’s technique it literally became a breeze!  I filmed so you could see what I mean,

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

  1. I made my own ‘stamp press’ and don’t know how I managed before either Therese! It’s great on textured card too! I LOVE this design, with the watercolour blended panel and the butterflies that look as though they have been stamped ‘over the edge’. Thanks for always inspiring!

  2. What an awesome card and technique – LOVE this Therese! I agree the Misti rocks – how did we ever cope without it ha ha.

  3. Beautiful, Therese! I love this technique and excited to give it a try. I love my MISTI, too! 🙂

  4. Therese, you are NOT an alright’ stamper! You are an amazing artist!!, and this card is a perfect example! I love how you blended the colors on the panel, and those butterflies are absolutely gorgeous! Off to check out your video 🙂

  5. Your card is beautiful and those butterfly stamps remind me of botanical illustrations they are just gorgeous. A different layout and technique for me which I now want to try, thanks for the inspiration! You are more than an okay stamper, but I know what you mean I don’t know how I coped stamping pre Misti!
Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my blog and I’ll tell you a secret – I have more sparkly dogs and I know I am going to struggle to use the last two because I have a black one and a white one and they remind of very cute West Highland Terriers so I am going to have to use them on something I don’t giveaway which rules out creating a card with those two! 6. Always love to see how your cards evolve, Therese … and how you make the creative process seem calm, serene and easy going (even if it might not be!). This is beautiful … gorgeous butterflies that are just lovely over the delicious blended background! Never used ‘gold’ tape in my ATG gun, sorry, can’t help with that … but can agree totally about the MISTI!! Hugs, Anita 🙂
