  1. I absolutely love all the polka dots on your first card! So cute! And I adore that tea cup.
Your 2nd card looks like a painting; gorgeous!

  2. So much fun on a cup! I would love to try these brush-pens, but for now I need other things more. (Don’t you just wish you could try everything you want!) I did not realize the dots were on acetate until the end of the video, I just thought you had used the dot patterns in the stamp set in a very creative way! I did some acetate over glitter cardstock for Christmas this year, and they turned out very well. Thanks for sharing this very fun card.

  3. Your watercolouring is beautiful! Love how you used the flowers from the other sexy on your teacups and the dotted overlay really finishes it off beautifully! Your Adore You card is darling also. Fabulous work.

  4. your card is great, I love when there is a video to show how the card is done, shows confidence is the work. Also gives us an idea of how to do so of these things that you artists do. Thank you. You card turned out beautifully.

  16. Will you put up the video of the peonies? So pretty. I like watching your videos 😄 Not too many “down under” card makers on YouTube. It’s good to have local suppliers. (if you call NZ local….😝)

  20. Simply gorgeous cards. The polka dots on the tea cup…unique!!! Thank you for sharing how to create the black polka dots.

  21. Both of your cards are beautiful and your video was great! I adore the teacup card, the polka dot acetate looked amazing on your card and I love how you decorated each teacup differently, they remind me of my vintage teacups that I collect and have inherited from my grandmothers. I’m with you on tea, I love it and drink it all day long! Thanks for the great inspiration.

  22. This blog hop IS fun! Your cards are great. The polka dots were unexpected, but fun! I must say my favorite, however, is the second card. Thanks for sharing.

It’s hard to beat a good cuppa so I am in love with the new Vintage Teacup set and think you’ve used it to perfection. Really clever to decorate the cups with elements from the other set and I love the whimsical effect created by your use of the dotty acetate: lovely!

  25. I thought you had covered the card in small back sequins for a while there! Very cute card and your floral card is lovely too.

  26. I love all the flowers on your vintage teacups and covering them with polka dot acetate was genius! That said, my favorite is the absolutely gorgeous watercolor Love & Hugs card!! Wow!

  31. Oh Therese, your cards are absolutely stunning! I love the dots on the teacup card – splendid! That beautifully coloured ‘Adore You’ card is perfect. Thanks for the inspiration and chance to win!

  32. I love that you’re on the Altenew DT because I get to see all your gorgeous creations however – you are not helping me to keep my wish list short! 😀 These are both awesome but I especially love the first card – so much fun!

  33. Love that painting on that second card! Why can’t I get my Clean Color Markers to do that?!?! Thank you for the video – you did a remarkable job!

  34. Absolutely amazing cards Therese ! I love your wonderful tea cups card and I love your addition of acetate with dots. The acetate gives the effect of china tea cups ! Thanks for sharing.

  35. I totally love both of your cards. The cup of tea set is calling my name as well as the adore you set. You designers do such a good job of promoting Altenew’s releases. It’s such a great stamp company. I’m never disappointed.

  36. Such LOVELY pattern paper you have created on the first card Therese…LOVE the contrast of black Polka-Dots:)) Soft and lovely on the second large blooms!

  37. I love your teacup card! It is just perfect in every way-those colors, the dots! Your flowers are stunning as well! Thanks for sharing your talent!

  38. You’ve done a wonderful job on the cups, Therese. So much so that I now want that stamp set. Adding the polka dot acetate over the top was such an unexpected and brilliant thing to dol.

  39. I adore these two cards Theresa. I watched your video and the repeated cup pattern and the beautiful colours and flowers on each work well with the spotted acrylic, and then those watercoloured flowers look beautiful and such a pretty colour too. x

  40. Great cards and wonderful video to accompany them. Thanks for including so many good tips and techniques in the video. I’m very visual, too, and videos always teach me so much and inspire me. I, too, love tea, but there’s no way I can drink it at home in a small cup like these! Mine have to hold at least 16 ozs! The acetate overlay was a brilliant finishing touch.

  41. O love the idea of stamping different flowers on each tea cup! It really adds variety and lots of colors t the card front. The acetate just “Kisses” the cups. I love that acetate. The second card is such a beautiful card. The coloring is stunning!

  42. BEAUTIFUL cards!!!
LOVE your wonderful watercolour teacups with the acetate overlay, ADORE your DELICATE flowers sending love & hugs … I confess, all three stamp sets are on my wishlist!!!
THANK YOU for sharing your INKY INSPIRATION and video, it was a pleasure to watch you create and colour AND to learn your COOL techniques for selecting the area of your panel and to stamp inside the teacups too, LOTS for me to try 🙂

  43. Hi Therese,

This is my first time stopping at your blog! I love both cards! I am partial to tea cups. I have a collection that started with my bridal shower. I had a tea party! Dresses and hats, and everyone brought their favorite tea cup and saucer so we could each choose our favorite for the day. The refreshments? Everything had chocolate in, just as I requested! People asked what I would like for gifts. My husband and I drank tea every night. I asked for a tea cup with a saucer or a teapot to keep the tea in, for pouring. I ended up with over 30 tea sets. I love my collection and have a small collection of tea cups/saucers/tea pots in stamps. I love the elegant shape of this particular cup. I love how you colored it…and those dots! Well how original can you get?! Maybe you should have a Tea Party for an upcoming holiday!

The flowers are stunning! They are so beautiful. They are colored so delicately! Thanks for the video!
