The best thing about creating a One Layer Card (other than the challenge of creating exactly what you want in only one layer) is that it is easy to post and with crossed fingers it will arrive at it’s final destination in one piece and without any extra postage cost.

I’ll be back next week with the final in this series!

  1. Therese, Your cards are wonderful…..one layer cards are so appreciated because here in the states the extra postage is awful. I sent Thanksgiving cards and the postal clerk actually bent the cards….and yes by doing so the glue was broken so cards were received not the way they were made. I love this series on your blog and appreciate every one of the videos. Thank you.

  2. Love these one layer cards, Therese! So pretty, and perfect for sending to those who are far away 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing all of your tips with us…another great video!

  3. Thanks for the inspiration Therese, one layer cards are my bete noir! I love the colours you chose on these and my favourite is the trees card, so neat! Di xx

  4. What a wonderful set of cards! I love the pink and grey combo and how you got to use some non-Christmas sets in there too. I really love that last one with the triangles! Very nice!

  5. Pretty cards. The extra postage charge happens in the UK too, I think if an envelope is more than 5mm thick it has to have a “large letter” stamp.

  6. Wowww…A gorgeous set of one layer cards…loved your video and leant so much…grey and pink look fabulous in all cards..

  7. I so enjoyed watched all these gorgeous cards come together, Therese … love that they’re one layer … and adore the pink and grey colour combo running through them all! Beautiful! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  8. Wonderful one layer cards, Therese! I love your pink and grey combination. Each of your one layer wonders is so entirely different from the next – amazing!

  9. Love love love the non-traditional colours! That poinsettia is a jaw dropper and I adore those little graphic Christmas trees!
