Video : 2016 Same but Different Christmas Card Series – No 6 – Keeping it Warm!

I’m sad to say this is my last video in my 2016 Same but Different Christmas Card Series for this year. And for my final set of cards I’ve gone with a theme, and today we are ‘Keeping it Warm’.

I was asked to create some ‘warm weather’ cards because you may have guessed that I live in Australia and typically our weather is hot at Christmas. And I know crafter’s that struggle with the concept of snow flakes on Australian Christmas cards, yes, Linda I’m talking about you lol.  This is also the lady you can blame for me starting my own blog and submitting for publications, I feel very lucky to call her a friend and an inspiration.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement, I have thoroughly enjoyed creating this series and I hope that you may have been inspired along the way too.  I still have a few more Christmas shares before ‘C’ Day so I look forward to seeing you again real soon,  Hugs

  1. Woooohooooo! Yaaay yaaay yaaaay! LOVE them❤️They are so cute Therese – especially enjoyed Santa in his Hawaiian shirt lol. Great job and inspiration for our Aussie Christmases. Xx

  2. What fabulous cards, Therese! The snow should not define Christmas (especially when there wasn’t any in Bethlehem that night). I love each one of these and the clever way you converted the stamps for the theme. Thanks for this wonderful series, I really enjoyed watching them all!

  3. Fantastic Aussie Christmas cards….love them all……I think stamp companies need to come out with Christmas stamp sets for countries who don’t have cold weather at this time…coz not everyone is as creative as you are Therese…I really want to make cards like yours for next Christmas…

  4. Love all your videos and these are right up there at the top. Great work. I just am so impressed with your talent.

  5. What a fantastic set of delightfully fun cards. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of cards. Wishing you a Christmas and New Year filled with good health and happiness. Have a wonderful day. Cheers Donna Z 🙂

  6. These are so much fun, Therese. Maybe you should design some warm Christmas stamps. One year when my youngest two sons were in their teens they decorated my gingerbread men with Hawaiian shirts and surfer shorts.

  7. YOu have mastered the warmth theme here! Having lived in So. California for many years I understand the warm Christmas even though it technically is winter time. Nothing like 70 degrees on Christmas Day.

  8. I’m with Linda. I can’t bring myself to make snowy Christmas cards – it just seems wrong! Even critters wearing scarves seem a bit weird but I can’t resist the critters… Anyway all of these are absolutely brilliant but I am especially enamored with the fish and the cactus. 🙂

  9. These are just so fun! I love them all. I have loved your series, but this one has been my favourite! I wish I had your ideas. I struggle to create one card most of the time, let alone 6 at a time. You are a clever cookie!
