Video : Colour with ‘U’ – Polychromos Penny Black Journey!

I’m back to Colour with ‘U’ today and it was time to get out my Polychromos pencils and practice.  And what better image to practice on that a cute little one from Penny Black illustrated by Mo Manning.  I decided to film as I created so you can watch the process.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Hope your week is cruising along nicely, Hugs

  1. Oh my goodness I love that kid!!! It could be me, honestly! when I was a child, my dad built us a real life ship’s ‘crow’s nest’ in our backyard! I loved the imaginative time spent there – and never was afraid of the climb – probably would be now, right?
Your wooden card is fabulous, Therese – well every blooming thing about this card is so fabulous – off to watch… xx

  2. Your card is so much fun! Such a cute little pirate! The polychromos add just the right amount of colour and I would agree that any markers would just be too much (although I am definitely no expert!).

  3. Therese you colour so brilliantly with those polychrome pencils. Absolutely magnificent. Fantastic card.

  4. What a FUN card Therese. I just love your brilliant coloring and the little details that make this card outstanding like the white panels and the overlapping black sentiment panel!

  5. Love watching you colour, Therese … what a delight to see this little pirate come to life in your video … those wonky angles are a great touch … they’re like sails in the wind! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  6. I really love this card, Therese! Such a fabulous stamp, and your coloring is just beautiful! Love your unique design, too!

  7. Love how you’ve sliced that panel… I’m always on the look out for ideas like that 😉 Your colouring is awesome as always 🙂
