Video : Cards 4 Men – Having Some Marvy Snow Marker Fun!

I’m still loving the really CAS Cards 4 Men at the moment, but it is fun to add just a little interest to take it to the next level and today that is a ‘Snowy’ beer, seriously!  And ‘lots of it’  and you will find out why in my video….

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

As you can see the ‘snow’ definitely works well as a ‘froth’ for beer!

  1. I love how you used the snow marker for the beer foam…so cool! I think your DH is going to love this card 🙂

  2. That’s thee perfect amount of beer foam–even it if was unintentional! I used Liquid Appliqué in the past–I’ve never seen a Snow marker before but it looks like it has the same puffy effect. So fun!

  3. Oh Therese, I couldn’t help to gasp and then laugh when that big blob of Marvy snow marker just spilled on your beer mug, been there…..done that. But you managed to save this fabulous masculine card that I’m sure your hubby will love.
Thank you for your fun and fabulous videos, it’s always such fun to see and hear you in action.
    Big Hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.

  4. This is a great card! Your foam worked out great – nice save! This would make a great card for my brother…he loves his beer!

  5. Hi. I have just discovered you on utube and love your videos and cards and have got myself now to your blog. You have given me so much inspiration. Thank you. I have noticed on your videos you mention making your own enamel dots with nuvo. I have some of these. Do you make them on a craft mat or just the self healing mat. Thanks again Theresa x

    1. Hi Heather, I have found that the Nuvo enamel dots work best for me on that shiny white paper that comes on the back of stuff….. some people call it ‘release’ paper. It’s the paper that I peel my foam pop dots from / or the backing paper off my adhesive washi sheets / magnet sheets etc. does this make sense? I have found that the Nuvo dots sit ’rounder’ and don’t flatten out like they do if I make them on acetate sheets. I can also leave them on the paper until I am ready to use them. I prefer to pre make them because I like to move them around on my card front for at least an hour until I am happy with the placement (and it usually ends up exactly where I put them in the first place…) But you can actually put them directly onto your card front if you are confident enough lol. Thanks so much for your lovely comments and for visiting my blog, Crafty hugs Therese ps I’ll try and show it in one of my next videos

  6. Awesome card…the snow marker was perfect for the beer froth…one look at this card and a guy will actually want to have a beer….ha ha…love it..!!!

  7. Not seen this snow pen before, Therese … what fantastic beer foam it makes … and the shimmer on the glass looks just like the condensation on a cold one! Puts me in mind of the end of ‘Ice Cold in Alex’ … it’s brilliant! Bet your husband loves it! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  8. Great mug of beer, Therese. I’ve had trouble with the SnoMarker putting out too much liquid too. You handled it well and it looks so cool.
