Video : Altenew Card Kit / Layering dies Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Altenew have so many wonderful new products and it’s finally time to celebrate the release of the New Day Card Kit as well as the fantastic layering dies!  We are all hopping along to celebrate and you should have arrived here from Flora’s fabulous blog.

Lots of inspiration in blog land today!  And I have three different styles of cards to share with you myself, so scroll down to see them and the video that I have made showcasing the New Day Card Kit as well as to find out how you can WIN!

Altenew - Inline Alpha Die - Bunny Love - Lostinpaper (card) 1 copy

I decided it would be fun to create a ‘faux embossed’ background using die cuts from the Inline Alpha Die set.  This little cutie is all dressed up for a party from Bunny Love and a glittery cupcake from Way Too Sweet.

Every time I looked at the Layered Cityscape Cover Dies I could only see a rainbow of buildings, so I just had to get that out of my system.

Altenew - Layered Cityscape Cover Die A & B - Faux Veneer - Lostinpaper (card) 1 copy

I did ‘stack’ a few of the die cuts on top of each other to add some dimension and the colouring was done with Tombows.

My final card uses the new Altenew New Day Card Kit and this is jam packed full of fun, I decided to create a video showing this kit and the process of making this card (as well as a quick peek at the kit).

  2. Love the use of a frame on a card.I am happy to see the paper by Altenew as well. Also the cityscape is a must have for me. Thanks for all you do. Your cards are lovely & enjoy your tutorials very much.

  3. Oh my gosh Therese!!! I just love the paper pad you showed on your fabulous video, the paper is gorgeous but, what made me decide to get it is the fact that this paper is ONE SIDED!!!!! yeah!! I would have been really sad if all of those beautiful designs were also on the underside of this pages, that would have been just tragic, I just couldn’t bring myself to glue any of them to my cards.
Beautiful kit indeed, thank you for sharing all of your wonderful cards and video.
    Hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.
