This month at the Altenew Blog I am taking inspiration from this photo. It’s one of 25 red roses that I received last year for our 25th wedding anniversary, I hope they inspire you as much as they did me!
My biggest problem today was deciding ‘which’ Altenew flowers to colour, I was in a mood to get out the Artist Markers and play. Ultimately the Amazing You stamp set won, I only wish I had the matching die set… maybe soon (wink).
The sentiment was stamped from the Beautiful You stamp set and a little spattering from the Ink Sprays and my card was pretty much done.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.
I can’t wait to see your take on the inspiration! For all the deets and to join in the fun at this month’s challenge you can head over to the Altenew Blog.
Other Supplies: Artist Markers – R302,318,335 / G702,715,554.
Stunning. Love how you carried the pink and green into the background with the splatters.
LOVE it Therese 🙂
Just gorgeous. Thought the sentiment was hand written! A great font.
That is exactly how I would have done it – but you did it much better! 😊 It’s always difficult to improve on perfection.
Beautiful photo and a gorgeous card!
Very delicate and beautiful Therese, and you definitely don’t look old enough to have been celebrating 25 years, :).
Those roses are beautiful . You make the colouring look so easy. Thank you Therese, I love watching your projects.
Again a really beautiful card!!!
I love how this beautifully coloured card is so cas but at the same time stunning. Nice touch with the little splatters.
Gorgeous!
