Video : Coral Charm Build-a-Flower

This month Altenew is introducing Build-A-Flower: Coral Charm.  On the 15th of every month a new flower set is released and each set offers a 6×8 stamp set with a coordinating die so you can easily create your projects (it is only available as a set, not as individual products).

I decided to create a very clean & simple design today.  I pretty much always add colour to flowers in one way or another so I challenged myself to keep it B & W (although I did sneak a little Limestone Gray Ink in there, I couldn’t help myself).

I also used Altenew’s Jet Black cardstock for the base and heat embossed the sentiment from Sketchy Landmarks with some Pure White embossing powder.

I decided to film as I created today, for you to see (most of) the process,
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

I know that you will also be inspired by the other designs using this beautiful Coral Charm stamp set, as well as the chance to WIN so head over to the Altenew Blog!

  1. Hello Therese: What a gorgeously elegant card, you can never go wrong with black and white and, on this one, the subtle touch of gray is a fabulous detail.
This would indeed make some lovely invitations that can easily be mass produced.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Hugs,
    Maria.

  2. Echoing the others in praising the sophistication of your showcase of this lovely peony! This elegant design would fit so many occasions; thank you for the inspiration!

  3. Love the black and white flower! It’s not something I had ever thought to do, but your card has inspired me to try this out!

  4. Gorgeous card, great new build a flower release! I love that they are black & white, for this reason you could send a set to a friend who doesn’t make cards but loves to color….then they could decorate & send out themselves!

  5. Black and white is just so elegant! This is wonderfully CAS and yet has that bit of sparkle and loads and loads of interest. It’s one of those cards that I could just stare at; looking it over and over and over. Really lovely! And thanks for another great video! : )

  6. This card is classically beautiful–the simple black and white design so elegant. Thanks so much for sharing this card.

  7. Simply elegant Therese. I love the black and white combo and the touch of glitter. Elegant is truly the word to describe this card! TFS!

Thanks for visiting! I'd love to hear what you have to say.
