Oh Yay, it’s time, Altenew have released some new wonderful stamps, dies and yes three new ink sets and I am so happy because they are bright, and you know how much I love bright! We are all hopping along to celebrate and you should have arrived here from FLORA’s fabulous blog.
I made a total of three cards today, so scroll down to see them and the video that I have made showcasing the fab new Layered Kaleidoscope Cover Die as well as to find out how you can WIN!
I started the day by playing with the new ink colours and the Balloon Baby stamp set, and with my Misti’s help I had the colours added in no time at all.
I added some clouds from the Be a Lighthouse and a Faux veneer speech bubble with a cute little sentiment from Handmade Tags.
I went a little artsy with the Altenew shimmer sprays on my card panel before die cutting this fab leafy garland which I popped up on some green fun foam.
I added the word ‘hugs’ from Script Words and heat embossed another sentiment from Handmade Tags before adding some enamel dots.
My final card is quite bright and busy but I had a ball creating it. I used the Layered Kaleidoscope Cover Die A along with some great Altenew cardstocks.
The flowers are stamp layered from the new Pretty Pansies stamp set and I heat embossed a sentiment from the Penned Rose set.

I love that yellow is one of Altenew’s new ink pad colors. It’s my favorite color and boy did you use it on those balloons. I love that card because it’s so colorful and because I love hot air balloons. We just went to a hot air balloon fest but because it was so windy that day we didn’t get to see any go off. Darn!
I love all the splatters on your second card. I used to make splatter paintings in my art class in high school and they were so much fun to do. I love yours a lot.
Your last card is so amazing I am drooling! LOL I love pansy’s and I had some beautiful ones growing from seeds 2 years ago. Last year I planted them again but those mutant ninja squirrels dug them up before they came up and really made a mess. I didn’t plant any this year. If I had your pansy card those squirrels couldn’t dig them up. You’re coloring is amazing and I love that bright background. That’s exactly the way I would do it. Me and colors, we just go along.
