Hello Therese: I have this stamp that I actually won on a challenge and I love it!!! I enjoy so much watching you color with your Prismacolor pencils and, like you, I think they are very forgiving and easy to use.
I have a quick question about your paper stumps. How do you sharpen them? I have a couple of s small sharpeners that were left here by my grandchildren and, even though they are fine to sharpen pencils, they do not work as good with the paper stumps.
Anyway, thank you for sharing another amazingly beautiful card, your videos are always fabulous to watch.
Big Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
Hi Maria, Sharpening the paper stumps is probably the worst part of using them, the main way that I do it is by using fine sand paper. The gamsol starter pack that I bought included this but I am sure that you can buy it separately or just use any sandpaper you have on hand. Here is the link https://www.ellenhutson.com/inky-antics-gamsol-starter-kit/#_a_165 Hope this helps and that you have a great and crafty day! Hugs Therese ps thanks so much for all your lovely comments, they truly make my day.
Oh, I forgot to add that I love the music you always play on your videos, it’s fun and cheery, just perfect to watch you create.
Thank you!!
Maria.
I love coloring with Prismas and am still relatively new to them so I appreciate any and all tips on using them. By the way, I bought a paper pad a while back that I absolutely love and now wish I had bought 2 of them!! It’s hard to find so I use what I have sparingly! I have to stop kicking myself for NOT having bought 2 at the time! So, I won’t tell on you!!!!!!!! I really like the background of this card. Thanks for a different sort of spin on an inlay card.
Beautiful coloring with your pencils, Therese! I love the clever way you added the striped paper behind the leaves, too…Stunning card! Great idea to buy 2 packs of this paper…it’s fabulous 🙂
Thanks for using the prisma colored pencils! beautiful coloring as usual.
Beeeeeeeeeutifully coloured Therese. Fabulous background and like how you cut those leaves. Nicely finished with the simple white on black sentiment.
Beautiful card Therese. I could watch you colour all day – your images end up so fabulous. I do love the stamp and die you used here too.
When you are on a roll……I’m ready to roll along. Wonderful video. I love to hear you ‘think’ as you create and this card is excellent. Your idea of the leaves is genius!! Your sentiment pops wonderfully
Thank for making this video. Each time I watch you create, I am positive I can too.
Also, do you think you in inherited your creativity from your mom? Cake decorating and card making seem to have much in common.
Hi Harriet, I would definitely say that my mother was a massive influence in my crafty life, I only wish I was a clever as her, she can turn her hand to anything! thanks so much for your lovely comments and for taking the time to visit, hugs Therese
I love this card! What a great idea to use the die that way. Your coloring is beautiful!
Oh finally – the cake you and Helen were talking about eons ago lol – gorgeous girl! Off to watch the video 🙂
Spectacular and scrumptious, Therese … your colouring is stunning … I love the softness of it against the bold black and white stripes … it’s delicious! I’m ready for a slice … will there be enough to go round?! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Your coloring is absolutely stunning as always – such perfect sot shading. However those dies cuts in the background just take this design to a whole other level. I LOVE it!!
Oh Therese, this is so lovely. YOur coloring is sublime. Looking forward for time to watch the video.
Therese, you make the most beautiful cards. Thank you for inspiring me.
Such a stunning card.
I hold you responsible for my collection of prisma!
Love them so much.
Thanks for today’s tutorial I’ve learnt so much more and plan to spend tomorrow colouring.
Please post more using the prisma.
Cheers
Lisa
Lovely pencil coloring! The arrangment of the card is perfect too. Can you imagine getting such a nice card, anyone would be so thrilled!
Beautifully coloured. The floral arrangement looks stunning – gorgeous image. Great background too.
Amazing card Therese – so happy to see you color that gorgeous cake. It seems talent runs in your family then 🙂
Therese, love the card you made! Exquisite! The Clustered Leaves you said to SHOP AT: OTH not sure who that is. Please let me know. Just love it!
Hi Doris, OTH just stands for OTHER, I wasn’t sure what else to put for stores that I do not link to as often. I am using the new Elink tool (the new version of Inklinkz is expensive) so I am slowly moving my products to the new links, if you can think of a better abbreviation I am open to suggestions. If you click on OTH, it will just take you to the product (hopefully… lol). Please let me know if you have any problems. Thanks so much for visiting and for your lovely comments, Crafty hugs, Therese
That sponge looks good enough to eat…. fantastic colouring 🙂
The more I watch you use your Prismacolor pencils the more I think I need some. This is a beautiful cake, Therese, and adding the black and white leaves is such an unexpected touch.
