Video : Gold Embossed Wedding Card – Altenew!

In my book, ‘Gold’ and ‘weddings’ are two things that go together kinda like peas and carrots…    Today’s card is one that I made for Altenew using the gorgeous Ladies’ Day Out stamp set with my own added Antique Gold embossed features.

I don’t know about you but I’ve had some problems with gold embossing powders in the past where they leave a residual haze on the cardstock, even if I prepped with a powder, but this one works perfect everytime!

Altenew - Ladies' Day Out - Celebrations - Framed - Lostinpaper (card video) 1 copy

I Framed the dress after stamping it on some Pale Gray cardstock, and added some flowers and a sentiment from the Celebrations stamp set, and I can’t believe that I didn’t use any ‘black’ ink today, it was unintentional but a nice change all the same.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Head on over to Altenew here or you can find the links below.  Have a great day!

  1. How clever to “dress” up (pardon the pun) the dress bodice with gold. Genius! Lovely dress and card. I prefer a daily Therese fix so miss you on the days you dont have a video. I totally inderstand that you cant do one every day but nonetheless, i miss you on your down days. Thanks for the great inspiration today.

    1. Hi Laurie, I think that I need you to talk to my husband, I keep telling him that I should be at home all the time making and creating cards and videos, but for some reason he expects me to go to work… I don’t know what that is all about lol. Thanks so much for visiting and for all of your lovely comments, Big Crafty Hugs, Therese

      1. Such a lovely card, love the tulle you added! Yes, I certainly wish sometimes that I could do the same thing and stay home all day and play! Something always comes up!

  2. What a great wedding card! Love all the gold embossing you’ve used for this perfect wedding card. Pretty sure that all brides would love to open this! And if you want, you can move in with me and just make cards and videos all day long! I promise, I won’t make you work, lol!! : )

  3. Your gold framed golden wedding dress and beautiful bouquet is just gorgeous, Therese … such lovely detailing with the tulle and tiny glass seed beads! Any bride would love an ensemble like this!! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  4. Stunning! Your comment on having seed beads from your cross-stitching days reminds me that I probably have some as well! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent!

  5. Absolutely GORGEOUS card, Therese! Your embossed details are just perfect and I love how you added tulle to the dress…so clever!
