Sooo much stamping and too much fun with the new Simple Shapes XL from Altenew, you know, the more I look at this set the more patterns I see…. so, watch this space.
I used the nesting Halftone Hearts Die and added the balloon floating fox from Hug Me in the centre, and I think the clouds definitely work as an illusion to create a sky (wink), be it a chevron sky.
Some Dark Gray cardstock seemed perfect for the Script Words 2 die cut ‘happy’ and a old style type font ‘birthday’ from my well loved Birthday Greetings Stamp set and seriously this card came together very easily… that never happens!
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.
I’ve linked the products I’ve used below or you can find them here at Altenew. Hope you are finding some crafty time today, even if you just sneak a little colouring in, no-one will ever know. Hugs,

What a fun way to make that chevron background! Lovely card!
I don’t know how you do it, Therese. You always make really complicated cards look so easy to make. Love the clouds – they really do “ground ” the floating fox. ☺
Wow a lot of stamping with that shapes set – looks amazing!
I’m amazed at your ability to “free stamp” those chevron images…Mine would look like I’d used a blindfold! What a fun card, Therese! Love the chevron sky and that sweet little fox floating between the clouds. I do love the gray sentiment, too. Such a classy color! Such a classy (and very fun) card!! : )
oh my word your amazing.. that background is just FABULOUS. I thought it was paper at first.. awesome designing.
I’ve watched a number of videos on stamped chevron backgrounds lately, and this is hands-down the easiest approach I’ve seen. Thanks for yet another good-humored, practical, and creative video!
I just looovvveee the bright colours you’ve used to create the fabulous background… very very cute card..!!
Loved the way you used a simple shape and created such a lovely chevron background…and that too so neatly 🙂
Gorgeous. I have come to expect that what I first think is pattern paper you stamp yourself. Very clever and awesome stamping. Most would just search our stash for pattern paper! 🙂 or is that just me?
Goodness, Therese … even when your’re post night duty, you still create amazing cards! This is a delight, that bright chevron background is so delicious … a perfect spot for that little fox floating up among the clouds! Hugs, Anita 🙂
I think a chevron sky would be pretty awesome! Love this adorable fox and that gorgeous background.
Wow! Lots of different elements in that card! You make it look so easy. Such a fun card and love that chevron stamp.
You’re a dab hand at lining those stamps up!! I was wondering which chevron stamp you had used until I saw the video!! Love it x
