One of the fastest and easiest ways for me to stamp a sentiment background on an angle is to use the Fiskar’s Stamp Press. Since the MISTI came along I don’t use this tool very often but for this technique it would have to be my fave if I’m in a hurry.
I am Guest Designer at Gerda Steiner Designs today and this card is featuring the new Fall in Love stamp set.
Even though the word ‘Love’ is in this stamp set I decided to use the one from Buckets of Love purely because the word was slightly larger. I recessed a die cut heart to add a little something something.
I filmed as I created so you could watch the process,
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Yotube.
Head on over to Gerda Steiner Designs where you can find these fab stamps or you can click on the link below. Hope you are having a wonderful day! Hugs

Ohh!! How sweet and adorable Therese, love how you made this fabulous background, I was wondering why you didn’t use the MISTI, I don’t think I would be brave enough to do it with anything else.
Thank you for sharing your videos, they are always a delight to watch.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
Wonderful background for those two love birds! The boy owl looks like he doesn’t know what hit him, but he likes it – so cute! Love that little flower on the girl and that great branch too!
I love hearing you talk as much as I love your crafting style. This card is so stinking adorable and thanks for all of the tricks you shared.
Love this cute card and the Love background.
I haven’t used my stamp press in like forever since the Misti came along. Love your cute owls and their expressions Therese. What a great job you did with the love background.
Darling card!
Love the way you create your backgrounds. Such a gorgeous card. The recessed heart is definately a little something something.
Such an adorable card! Love the way you created the background 🙂
This is so sweet, Therese. I LOVE owls so this made me happy.
oh wow! Thanks for the video and I love your card Therese! I just took this Fiskars stamp press out of my for sale stuff! I sold two smaller ones but this big one hasn’t sold! yay for me! I’m keeping it now! 😀
This card is adorable. This would have been perfect to give my hubby on our anniversary. I’ll have to save it for next year! Thanks for sharing your talents.
The birds are adorable…and I’m gonna check out your video and see how you made this super cute card..!!
Super cuteness and I love how you used the Fishers for the background. Must dig mine out….
Really adorable! I bought a stamp press ages ago and then figured out that I didn’t know how to use it. I might have to dig it out and do some practicing with it.
Your background is perfect for these charming owls, Therese! Beautiful coloring and I love how you added the darling bloom for the girl…so sweet!
What a SWEET card, Therese! I love how you do your own background papers, I didn’t know there was a stamp press that large. As always, your wonderful videos always leave me–inspired!
Thank you Therese for the tip with the Fishers stamp press – lo-tech but so good! Your card is so cute, and the Love background is just the thing for those lovey birds!
Fiskars, I meant, auto correct arrrgh!
I love how clean and crisp your stamping is. Just gorgeous!

Aren’t you a clever girl Therese, offsetting the leaf version works perfectly! Bravo!
