  1. Amazing what a little extra pencil work will do to a tamped image. It really brings it to life…beautifully done! and I am inspired to do it to more of my work! thank you so much!

  2. Super cute card Therese…fantastic colouring as always…I am watching your videos and practicing with my Prismacolor pencils these days…you make it look so easy but it definitely isn’t..!!

  3. Lovely cards Therese, the snail is so adorable on your first card, on the Thistle card, the colors just pop with the added shading, I love doing this to my stamped and colored images.
Congratulations on being invited to Helen Hutson’s classroom, you are the best teacher, I love your videos.
Thank you also for the chance to win.
    Big Hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.

  4. Geez you get around girl ha ha :-)) Loving seeing you at all the best places these last few weeks Therese. Congrats love on all your wonderful success – so well deserved! xx

  5. Saw you at EH before coming here, Therese … many congratulations on being featured there … such fitting recognition! As ever, your colouring is awesome … the depth on the thistle is fantastic … and that cute little snail is adorable (I could have said scrumptious if he was a french escargot!). Love to watch you work! Hugs, Anita πŸ™‚

  6. Therese, so thrilled to see your amazing progress in the card world. You so deserve it. I love the Thistle card and only you could make a snail look cute!!! Hugs, Glenis

  7. I love your videos! I was so excited to see you on Ellen Hutson; I have been seeing you with Penny Black. Love your coloring and you always make it look easy. Thanks for sharing!

  8. You need to design for EH more often – these are gorgeous! I’ve ordered both of these sets and am even more excited to get them now after seeing these beauties!

  9. Oh my goodness Therese, what you can do with a coloured pencil is nothing short of amazing! What a huge difference a little shading can do. Both cards are totally awesome, esp. the thistle card! Just beautiful.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  10. Oui, you are so talented, madame. You make all of the other snails bow their heads in shame, because you did not choose them for your colouring as well. I will slide away now and proclaim your colouring prowess throughout the stamping lands. Yours honorably, Cecil Escargot 🐌 πŸ’•Mwah

  11. How absolutely exciting!! Many congratulations on your name in lights and super coloring and video – I’m atar struck! You have so much talent – thank you for sharing it with us ❀️

  12. That snail is a real cutie!! I’m heading over to watch the video now. I have an entire can of colored pencils that I need to learn to shade with and haven’t used them in quite a while!

  13. Congratulations on the feature over at the Classroom, Therese! Your coloring video was so helpful and I look forward to practicing some of the tips I learned.

  14. congrats on your spot at EH – and thanks for the coloring lesson – love both cards – especially how you added the detail to the thistle card with the dry embossing.

  15. Great video, Therese! I loved seeing you add the subtle details to these images resulting in depth of Colours and shading!

  16. I love solid stamps and had not thought to try this before; thanks for sharing it! You’ve made me want to dig out my prismacolor pencils. That snail card is fabulous!

  17. This is a great technique! I have a few solid stamps and they don’t get used too much because they usually end up looking too flat. I will have to get out the pencil crayons and give this a try. Thank you so much for making the video.

  18. The added shading completely changes the stamps. I love what it did to the thistle stamp. Thanks for sharing. I’m looking at my solid floral stamps in a whole different way.

  19. I always love your videos, Therese. You have such a soft touch with the pencils, I always color so heavy handed. Thanks for the lesson.

  20. I didn’t treat myself to the Snail set, YET… you’ve made it irresistible! I’ve got my fingers, and toes, crossed, Therese! I spend a lot of time at that E.H. Shop!!! and enjoy every moment! xx

  30. I have loved watching your videos for years, Therese, as you make the creative process look so easy! You are so talented and inspire me to try new things. I just love this snail and the mushrooms in the set and your purple details make these thistles magnificent! Thanks for sharing.

  31. I really love to watch you produce your dynamic CAS cards and as always you did not disappoint!! I also love the stamps that EH produces, what a super combo, thanks for sharing!!!!

  32. Gorgeous thistle Therese. Looks completely different after you added the pencil shadings. I’ll be experimenting with my solid stamps now. Thanks for sharing your great work.

  36. I love my Prismacolors, but mine don’t work anywhere near as well as yours do! Oh, how I wish I could color that beautifully! Thanks so much for sharing.

  42. Congratulations on your spot at EH! I love your videos, your beautiful coloring & your sense of humor! I always look forward to your tutorials & save them to enjoy with my morning coffee – favorite part of my day! And of course, I love your snail & thistle cards!!

  43. Wow. Thanks for sharing. I never thought about coloring over a stamp. This seems like it would provide a nice shading alternative for those of us who can’t afford to splurge on fancy schmancy markers. I already have the Prismacolor pencils to work with.

  44. Congratulations on guest designing at Ellen’s! You sure know how to make a snail look good, Therese, and your Thistle is beautiful. Appreciate you sharing your work in a video! My wish list at EH keeps growing and growing…mostly due to enabling designers like you.

Thanks for visiting! I'd love to hear what you have to say.
