It’s time for another wonderful Altenew release and today we have soooo much to share! If you are hopping along to celebrate you should have arrived here from SANDRA’s wonderful blog!
Today I focused on the new embossing powders (but here is also an amazing new Scrapbook Collection!) that is now available and a fun technique where I embossed onto coloured cardstock, it gives a different and often fun look! I have a video showing the process, you can scroll down for that as well as to find out how you can WIN!
My first card is a bright one, how cool does the Razzleberry Crisp Embossing Powder look on the Autumn Blaze Cardstock!
I added a spray of Doodle Blooms a snail from Garden Grow (the bird just didn’t feel like as much fun although that was where I was originally heading) and a Speech Bubbles sentiment die cut with the coordinating dies.
I had a whole other vision for this card until I saw what the Caribbean Sky Crisp Embossing Powder looked like on the Turquoise Cardstock…
To me it looked so much like ‘bubbles’ that I couldn’t resist keeping it CAS and adding a die cut girl and sentiment from Let the Wind Carry You.
I created a video for my final card and adore the look of the Platinum Crisp Embossing Powder on the Real Gray Cardstock.
So that meant that I just had to use the flowers from the Adore You Stamp Set, I also added a sentiment from the Script Words Die Set and some Sultana sprinkles and called it done.

I am in love with those circles! I don’t know why but my favorite shape is a circle. There is a song that says “The world is a circle without a beginning and nobody knows where the circle ends”.
