Video : Waffle Flower Crafts Stretching the Nested Domes Die!

Happy New Year!!!   I hope you are feeling ‘well’……. Today I want to share a card that was over at the Waffle Flower Crafts Blog. I decided to have a little fun stretching the A2 Nested Domes Die, and today I made my very own cookie jar!  as soon as I saw this sweet Little Bakers stamp set which was recently released I just had to colour up some choc chip cookies.

To create the actual cookie jar I stamped the Layering Woodgrain with Happy Go Lucky ink and die cut the base and top handle, and I had to cut the dome in acetate so you can see the cookies inside.

My sentiment speech bubble is from the Monochrome stamp set and was stamped using New Fish in Pond.  I did decide to keep this card very clean and simple today, and thought it would make a great graduation or congrats card.

I filmed the process as I created.

I have linked all the products I used below or you can head here to Waffle Flower Crafts.  I’m off to work now, Hugs,

  1. Therese what a wonderful card, love this dome die, I can just picture cakes and chocolates and cookies all on display and the cute lady who is obviously modeled on yourself cooking away in the kitchen. Brilliant

  2. It truly is New Year 2018 now, Therese! the fireworks have started, and I’m here to wish you all the best … and to see all your spectacular talents at work! OH she is making my favorite cookie, too?!

  3. Lovely card.
Love Christmas but so happy to find inspiration for non holiday themed cards.
    Cheers
    Lisa

  4. You had me at chocolate chip cookies, Therese! Your little chef is so cute with her jar chock full of yumminess … scrumptious! Wishing you every blessing for a Happy New Year/Bonne Année 2018! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  5. Such a cute card, Therese! I love how you created the domed cake plate and those chocolate chip cookies look good enough to eat 🙂 Fabulous Copic coloring, too!
So, you like the chocolate chip cookies you’ve had from the U.S.? I think they’re pretty good, too 🙂 My warmest and heartfelt wishes for a really Happy New Year to you!

    1. Hi Lisa, I am so happy for you, your holidays sound perfect! And baking sounds great, although I try ‘not to’ because then I just eat them all and that’s not always a good thing lol. The picture of your baking didn’t come through on the Youtube channel? If you have the time I would love you to email it to me at me email which is under contacts at the top of my blog page (I am trying to remember it… but it’s obviously too early for my brain) Have a great day, Therese

  6. Love your cookie jar card, Therese. You;ve made me hungry for chocolate chip cookies now. I can email you a recipe for how we Americans make them and you could give it a try!!

  7. Oh my, your cookies look so delicious, Therese. This is the sweetest card, I love your cookie jar and your sweet image! Thanks for another great video! You are one talented cookie!

  8. Love the chocolate cookies.
I got home late last night from a week away with no computer/wifi and weighed myself – needless to say I need to definately stay away from the cookies! 🙂
