Video : Build-A-Flower: Hibiscus Release at Altenew & Giveaway!

I have an easy technique to share today using the new release Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hibiscus Stamp Set.

I love to create a background and this one came together in no time at all.  I used only two beautiful Altenew Crisp Ink colours, Dew Drops and Minty Mint.

Altenew - BAF - Hibiscus - Therese Calvird (card video)

and a final spattering of the shiny Iridescent Ink Spray…

  1. Lovely card and you were right about the iridescent spray splotches…they complete the card beautifully. TFS.

  2. I love this color combination. And I think hibiscus are my favorite flower after peonies. This looks like a great stamp set. I like what you did with the splatters rather than adding sequins or drops. Makes it very easy to mail. Another beautiful card!

  3. Love your card Therese. The technique of spattering with the iridescent shimmer spray is a lovely idea that I haven’t tried yet, but as I did buy that set of sprays recently I’ll have to give it a try. You are a constant source of inspiration and enjoyment. Always look forward to your videos. Thank you.

  4. Hello Therese, what a stunning card, the colours are gorgeous too. I usually deliberate about what supplies to buy, but not with this set – bought already 😛

  5. Such a gorgeous card, Therese! I love your color palette with this design and the effects of the ink spray is amazing! Thanks so much for the video tutorial!

  6. Therese, Thank you for the lovely inspiration! It’s a good reminder that you don’t need to stamp ALL the layers all the time!

  7. Love the softness of the colors and the simplicity of using the flowers this way! The little bit of sparkle elevates it to the next level. Now you given away the secret of covering up mistakes! 🙂

  8. Loved the card! I just became aquainted with Altenew Stamps and I am so excited to try them. I would love to win this set!

  9. Wow, this is gorgeous and those colors are perfection. I love a stamped background and you’ve just done the primer on it. Happy Easter.

  10. Your card came out just beautifully! I just won’t think to get shading by stamping the same color again with the second layer. It’s just lovely!

  11. Love the idea of quick and easy cards like this one. The colours are dreamy and that iridescent spray really adds dimension.
