Today I’m at Altenew and it’s time for a very easy technique using the Altenew Artist Markers! I’ve been enjoying the watercolour look of the Yupo with Alcohol inks and thought it would fun to try the markers and see what kind of look I can create.
I have created a video to show you the process and you can scroll down for the link.
I chose subtle colours for the background and used the Wild About You stamp set to add some silhouette floral images.
My sentiment was Pure White heat embossed from the Thinking of You stamp set.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.
I’ve linked all of the products that I used today below, but you can also find them here at Altenew. Thanks so much for your visit today, I hope you enjoyed!

Another gorgeous card and stampTherese. Loved your video and how you moved your colours around the Yupo paper. I have just bought a big sheet and cut it up to play with my new to me Alcohol inks and just can’t stop playing with them. That paper is soooooooo cooooooooool! Thanks for showing ‘me’ another way to blend those inks.
Very cool. It reminds me a bit of a sky-scape with palm trees.
I’m so enjoying your ‘experiments’ with alcohol ink in all it’s guises, Therese … this is so beautifully dreamy and serene … a gorgeous background for those lovely silhouettes! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Very interesting technique, with beautiful results Therese 🙂
