Video : Colour with ‘U’ – Blossom Sprays #2 – Altenew Watercolours!

I have an amazingly talented friend, Deepti who designs for STAMPlorations and today I used another one of her beautiful Blossom Sprays stamps.

For some reason I thought it would be a fun challenge to colour ‘white’ flowers with an ‘almost’ no-line watercolouring technique (What was I thinking!).  You can follow today’s journey in my video, scroll down for the link below.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Just in case you missed it, head HERE  to my blog post so you can see the other video I made using Blossom Sprays #1.

Don’t forget, you can find heaps more inspiration at Deepti’s blog here Dee’s Art Utopia. Thanks for your visit, I hope you are having a great day!  Hugs,

  1. What a stunning card!😍
Love how you’ve used the colors to make this a no line image!
    Saying hi from the Netherlands!

(Ps: how is your journey going? I’m a bit jealous about the trip you’re making! It’s a big dream of me to travel like that trough Australia)

  2. So soft and beautiful, Therese! You’re so right about slowing it down with watercoloring. I tend to treat Zigs like Copics and then what’s the point.

  3. Just love the stamp set!
The card is so very subtle and elegant.
Hope you’re having a wonderful road trip.
    Cheers
    Lisa

  4. Absolutely GORGEOUS card, Therese! I love your soft color palette and your watercoloring is just beautiful!!!
While you were chatting about watercoloring in your video, I was reminded of a great video I saw recently by Debby Hughes…she talks about using 2 brushes when watercoloring and explains why…you might be inspired by her…here is the link:

  5. Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry…I didn’t realize that the link would upload the entire video…and now I can’t figure out how to delete it…please accept my apologies!
Sending big hugs…hope your road trip is going well 🙂

  6. What a soft and pretty card. I have the exact same “issues” (!) with watercoloring!! Thank you for sharing … it feels good to know I’m not alone!!! Hope you’re having a fun trip.

  7. I love what you did with this card. I struggle with watercolors though I love them. Watching you gives me confidence . Thank you for your lovely work and sharing it with us. You Rock!!

  8. Stunning, Therese … soft and simply beautiful! I also have issues with waiting for watercolour to do it’s thing … sloooooooooooow is good!! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  9. I am always speechless… seeing your creations and when you make something using my designs, all I feel is pride ♥️ Thank you sooo much from the bottom of my heart for making me feel special.
Your card looks gorgeous. Those colors are so soothing. I am amazed, always amazed by your talent.
