  1. I loved your card. Thanks for sharing. I absolutely loved your footage of Kangaroos Island! My dream vacation is to travel to Australia. Maybe someday.

  2. Love the card. I liked the way you used the lined background. I saw it in Vicky’s card but you both have such different takes on using it. It is so wonderful to see the different ideas. Love the kangaroos by the way. 🙂

  3. Hello Therese: What a fabulous card, these huge alphabet letters look beautiful and so elegant, love the soft pop of color of the little flower bouquet.
And thank you so much for sharing these photos and video of your fabulous trip with your hubby, looks like you guys are visiting some pretty splendid places.
Love the part with those seals swimming in what looks like their private pool, I was watching them frolic around and made me wish to take a dip with them, until I saw those huge waves just crashing into it with such force, WOW!! It can be pretty dangerous to get into that pool, no matter who inviting it looks.
Thank you for sharing your photos and videos, keep enjoying your time with your hubby and building awesome memories that will last a life time.
    Big Hugs,

    Maria Rodriguez.

  4. Wonderful treatment on the T…love the graphic stripes in white and black. The pop of colorful florals makes it just perfect.
Really enjoyed watching the seals, koalas and kangaroos. Wish I could capture the color of that sea when it washes over the rocks on my cards. Koalas in action look like they sleep.

  5. I really like that background stamp – very versatile. Thanks for including your trip photos and video. Fascinating for those of us on the other side of the world.

  6. Therese, your card is fabulous. I love the stripes on the background and on the oversized alpha letter. Wonderful. thanks for sharing your journey with us. Australia is such a beautiful country/island/continent and I’m so glad that you are able to share a little of it with everyone

  7. Great card….and your photos were awesome! Looks like your 4WD getaway was fun. You are just too cute. Thank you for always being so generous with your talent….Great AlteNew Release for June!!!

  8. Beautiful card Therese. Black and white is one of my favorites because it looks so classy. And I love your outback pics. My husband and I have been looking at cruises for Austrailia and New Zealand. Looks like you’re having fun.

  9. Wonderful card. A great release from Altenew.
Really enjoyed your video footage and photos of Australia. Enjoy your vacation..
    Thanks for sharing…

  10. I LOVE how you played with this alphabet die, Therese! Great idea to add those darling bright blooms, too!
Thanks so much for sharing some footage and pics from your trip…such a treat 🙂

  11. Cute card! Love the alpha’s and can’t wait to get an “R” for myself.
Love your photos! The 2nd one reminds me of when I climbed to the
top of Ayers Rock (MANY years ago now as I could never do that again!)
and I did my “Rocky” impersonation. I love how you got the shadow effect.

  12. I love blog hops they give me new ideas and i love your pin stripe card. Its fresh and different, to me anyway.

  13. I love your giant ‘T’……………and thank you for sharing your photos they are excellent!

  14. I love your card with the large T and the interesting effect with the pin stripes. I have the same trimmer as you and had some problems, at first, with the paper shifting. I found that I needed to hold the paper flat at the bottom of the blade and that helped. As for your videos and pictures of Kangaroo Island, they are stunning. I just have to say…what more perfect place for a blog hop, than Kangaroo Island. Sorry! 🙂

  15. Such a nice card, looks simple but it was quite complicated, very effective though. Love to see all the photos and footage of your trip, would love to know more if it isn’t being nosey, where did you set off from and what area do you hope to cover on your trip? I had friends who where going to Kangaroo Island but the weather was too bad for the boat to dock. Glad you got there and found a rather awake koala. Congratulations and enjoy your holiday of a lifetime.

  16. The half stamped T looks great, Therese. The photos are magnificent and how I envy you watching the wild life ‘in action’. It looks to be a fabulous trip and one I wouldn’t mind taking.

  17. I love how your card really pops with the pinstripe background & the large T in the middle of both halves. Both the pinstripe stamp & the large monogram letters would be so versatile to have. Your video is wonderful! What a blessing it must have been to be on the Island with your favourite person.

  18. wonderful design! could be handy for a masculine card too! smiled ALL the way through your island footage. thanks for sharing and continue to enjoy your time!

  20. Your card is really pretty, a very classic look. Thanks for including the video, looks like your having a good time. The seals playing in the waves was a lot of fun to watch.

  21. Love the way you’ve used the huge ‘T’ on your card! Your holidays photos were a highlight too – I really should see more of our country rather than heading overseas!

  22. Thanks for sharing your beautiful split pin-stripe card (and fabulous video!). Your card is inspirational (and I loved seeing the footage and photos of Kangaroo Island, which has long been on my wish-list of places to visit :-)).

  23. Great use of the letter T! Thank you for thinking of it. Your card design is terrific. Thanks for sharing. Love the photos too! I felt as if I were on a vacation in an exotic place!

  38. Fab card. Of course you stamped the lines! First look thought it was patterned paper – should’ve known better 🙂
Love the pics. One of hubby and my first holidays way before kiddos was to Kangaroo island (yeah forever ago 🙂 ) I don’t seem to remember sealed roads!

  39. Love the graphic nature if this card. Such an amazing die release. I thought the T would be for Therese!

    Lisa

  40. Oh my gosh, Terese, your card is so creative! I love the black and white pin stripes with the colorful folksy flowers. Just a perfect design! And, the amazing bonus of video from Kangaroo Island! So relaxing to watch the seal swimming in the waves! : ) I wasn’t expecting to get to tour with you, and now I can’t wait for more. My hubby and I took our honeymoon in your beautiful country 27 years ago…so can’t wait to see where you two are off to next!

  41. What a fun idea to do the almost inverse T pinstripe. You have such great combos of graphic design and the softer flowers. Thanks for sharing this with us, even in the middle of your amazing roadtrip! And I had never heard of Kangaroo Island, so that was a fun little internet hole I went down reading about it. I hope this trip is everything you ever hoped it would be; so far it seems to be!

  42. Love those great big letters & your clever use of one with that gorgeous black & white stripe is such a great design! Love it!!

  43. Love your card! That split “T” really stands out beautifully! Thanks for the inspiration! And thanks for sharing your vacation video! I love the seals, it looks like they are having a ball out in the surf!

  44. Love your fabulous thank you card!!! So clever of you to use the Mega Alpha and the pinstripe stamp to make this unique and fabulous card! LOVE your really wonderful pics as well!!! Wow!

  45. Looks like you are having an amazing time! Your card is fantastic…love the pinstripes on the T and half and half…brilliant!
