  1. Any ideas using the smaller, otherwise unused elements of a stamp set are appreciated — and your example is great. Thank you!

  2. making background with small stamps (or any size for that matter!!) is always so difficult for me and you made this look so easy – wonderful card, Therese!!!

  3. Therese, I struggle finding rhyme or reason to stamping these tiny delights… you do it so wonderfully! I’m betting anything you’ll show me the way… off to watch! xx

  4. Absolutely LOVE, LOVE this bold and beautiful flowers, the colors you chose are so vibrant, who’d know these small images could create such an impact.
I wonder who’s the lucky 50 year old gal who is going to receive this card but I do know she’ll love it.
    Thank you for sharing.
    XO

  5. 50 is a big one but you managed to help it feel small too! Yay as I am turning 49 big ones this year myself! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Beautiful card, Therese! Wonderful combo of colors. You make background stamping look so easy – it is something that I do struggle with and so I don’t try it too often.

  7. What a pretty card! Love the background you created using the small stamps. I will turn 80 in December; so 50 is quite young in my humble opinion!!

    1. They are a great size (no hiding the facts with these), now I just ‘need’ to get some of those Mega numbers, definitely no hiding there lol. Thanks so much for your lovely visit, Crafty hugs, Therese

  8. I really love this card the beautiful clean colours and the simplicity of the whole card. That rubellite is on my list now. Great accent colour. Thanks Therese.

  9. love that BIG BOLD 50! They should be proud to have reached that. I am proud to have reached 65

  10. Your card is beautiful and very elegant ! I love the happy colors.

Birthday’s cards can be challenging depending on the number of years : more years = more susceptibility ! I had to create a card for a 70th birthday lately. As it was for a real Scottish man I did not know at all. I recreated the tartan of his clan and put a big 70 on my card. I would never have dared to put the number for a woman without knowing her.

    Thank you for the inspiration.

  11. This is so pretty, love the pastel colours and I think the small images make the most amazing designs!!

  12. That’s such a versatile stamp set and priced well except for international postage. Love your choice of colours.

  13. Your cards are so clever and beautifully executed. Love your humor and talent that you share with us. Keep up the great creating! Thanks for sharing your trip, photos, and your travel craft gear. I so enjoyed it and your craft room arrangement. You are the best.

  14. I love the colors you used to make the cheery background, and when you turn fifty you NEED a cheery card! 🙂 Thanks for sharing your card!

  15. What lovely colours and overall design. I use a car chamois as a stamp cleaner too, and love it. It’s also great for keeping inky fingers from causing trouble!

  16. Beautiful creation Therese, this is another idea I need to try out. Love the soft look of the card, perfect as always.xx Aileen

  17. Love watching you design! It is great to think what one could do with the smaller stamps in a set…usually I am at a loss…now I think I will ‘see’ them differently! TFS♥
