Video : Altenew December 2018 Stamp / Die Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Oh Yay, it’s time for some more fun Altenew stuff and if you are hopping along to celebrate you should have arrived here from KRISTINA’s wonderful Blog!

I have three cards and a video to share with you today and they all quite different to each other.  Starting with a Christmas design using some of the new Altenew Essentials Black & White Paper Pack.

Do you think I could have got any more B & W on this card?
Altenew - Black& White Paper Pack - Poinsettia & Pine - Therese Calvird (card) 1 copyThe sentiments came from the Sketched Evergreen Stamp Set and Night Before Christmas Die Set.  And the images from the Poinsettia & Pine set.

  1. Hi Therese. Love this new release, of course, with all those wonderful new products. Needless to say I love all your very different cards. You always come up with something different / unusual / but simply gorgeous. TFS.

  2. Altenew has such wonderful products! The pattern paper looks awesome and that is my favorite card from your three. Thanks so much.

  3. Lovely cards, beautiful products and another amazing release. The Delicate Primrose card is my favourite. My favourite sets are Nature’s Snippets and Love Letters as well as the paper pads, but of course I shall have to have the flower sets too.

  4. Quite a lovely set of cards!! I enjoyed seeing how you put the layered flower together on the video. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Quite a dramatic Christmas card! Your stacked Primrose is lovely, and I’m really aching for the Ruffled Flowers set and the Mega dies.

  6. All three cards are beautiful, great mix of colour combinations. Your purple flower is a real beauty, never seen any made like that, must try it. Therese I don’t know if it’s your accent or what you say but I always love your videos.
    Merry Christmas x

  7. Beautiful cards, Therese! I LOVE the one using Ruffled Flowers – that one is going on my wishlist straight away!

  8. Lovely cards. The black & white card stands out for me as I like something a little different now & then. The pops of color add the perfect cheerful touch.

  9. love your card! also love that you tell us about your mistakes/challenges – makes me feel less of an idiot when I am trying things out – hahaha

  10. Really love the B & W card but the video on the layered paper flower was amazing! You sounded like you had so much fun making it.

  11. I love all three of your cards and your videos are always entertaining and make me smile! Probably, because you have a great sense of humor and are always laughing at yourself! 🙂

  12. Your cards are beautiful ! I specially love the last one, this flower in the center of the card is so elegant, really a great creation. And yes, the card is matching your sketch 😉 !

  13. Love the cards. They are all beautiful. This release has some really great stuff. Great video too. Thanks so much for sharing your art.🐧

  14. These cards are so lovely, Therese. I especially like the design of the first card, with the stunning black, white and red coloring. tfs

  15. That’s a brilliant way to go black and white, love the outcome. The ruffled flowers are so delicate and coloring is great.

  16. Great cards. The black and white one is very cool with the red. The technique in the video is something I will have to try.

  17. Love this simple design of the primrose card…it is really beautiful! And I always love black and white with a pop of color! My fave, though, is the Ruffled Flowers card. I tried to order that set but it is OOS. Hope it comes back soon, cuz I want to use it like you did! Thanks for all the inspiration today!

  18. What a beautiful CAS card but you gave it that WOW factor by giving the Primrose all that dimension- lovely! Your other two cards are gorgeous, too! I love the Ruffled flowers stamp set!

  19. All 3 cards are beautiful! I love the black & white with the pop of red, very cool. The layering on the last card is absolutely gorgeous, I love how the colors just seem to peak out around the flower. Thank you for sharing all 3 cards and the always amazing inspiration. 20. All og your cards are stunning. I really like the last card on the woodgrain with the layered Primrose! I like the uniqueness of the Christmas card too. You don’t see many black and white one, but I love it.

  21. Beautiful cards. I do love the bouquet in the second card and the watercoloring in the third. I loved watching you bring the flowers to life in the video. Thanks for sharing.

  22. I remember doing layered images years ago and the technique looks especially great with the flower. I’m loving that black and white card. It goes right along with my black and white plaid gift bags.

  23. Your cards are beautiful! Love them so much that I can’t pick a favorite. There’s something special about each of them. Thanks for the video showing how you make the layered primrose. Lots of helpful hints.

  24. Such gorgeous cards! I love how you used the Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set to create this elegant flower bouquet in the second card. Thanks for the inspiration.

  25. Thank you so much for sharing these three beautiful cards! I am new to card making and really am appreciative Altenew has brought me to such wonderful blogs. I love your black and white card. It is a perfect example of how to use patterns to make a card pop without color! Thank you for the inspiration 🙂

  26. Such a stylish look with the black and white, Therese … a beautifully soft bouquet … and a gorgeous condolence card! I did enjoy your video … such fun as well as being inspiring! Hugs, Anita 🙂
