Video : Same But Different Christmas Card Series – Quick Cards with Minimal Supplies!

Dooonnn’t Panic!  There is still time, you can make some handmade Christmas cards, these quick and easy designs using minimal supplies came together in no time at all.

To keep it quick the designs had to be simple.  I created 6 similar but different designs using the cute Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Winter and the Simply Winter Sentiments stamp sets.

To make it ‘quick’ the key is to keep it similar…   I used the black ink for all the designs but changed where I stamped on each of the panels.

I used the same Copic colours on all of the designs and kept the shading to a minimum.

That marvel snow looks awesome. I’m pretty sure you used it on cards last year and I thought at the time I should get me some! Thanks for links defineately getting some now.
    Cheers
    Lisa

  5. I love your sweet cards, especially as I am a pastel person. I love red and green at Christmas, but absolutely love your pastel ones. Sweet, Sweet!!!

  6. Oh, my goodness! I love this series! I would not have picked pastels, but boy are these perfect! Thank you so much for all that you do for us – I love your cards, your videos, your humor… Merr Christmas!

  7. I get bored quickly too so I like and appreciate your same but different series! These cards are so quick and cute! Love the simple coloring and the pastels (so glad that pastels are not just for spring any longer!). It works well especially on such small images. I don’t like waiting until the last minute either. I started Christmas card making in August (I know … really early even for me, but that’s when the spirit moved me to get going! And who am I to argue with the creative spirit!!!). Since this year’s cards were made before the new goodies came out, I got to shop and get ideas for next year’s cards! (Christmas cards are my absolute favorite to make.) That’s just how I roll and what works for me. Thanks so much for your series this year. Much appreciated. Here’s wishing you, your loved ones and the folks in Australia and the region a very Happy Christmas season. Stay cool (literally)! All the best in the coming New Year and here’s to more happy crafting!

  8. Therese, your cards and videos are always so beautifully done and so inspiring, too. Today’s video is so much fun – love the pastels and the snow pen and the glitter dots, too!! I really appreciate the time it takes for you to make a video, edit it and get it uploaded. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones and may 2019 bring you much joy and happiness.

  9. I’ve finished all of my Christmas cards for this year but these are fantastic! Quick, easy and cute. I love this series. Thanks Therese!

  10. These cards are so cute Therese. Done all my cards now. But next year they’ll be a goer.
    Happy Christmas and thankyou.

  11. Such great cards. I love quick and easy even when it isn’t the silly season I seem to be time poor all the time! Checking out the marvy snow pen might have to go on my wishlist! 🙂

  12. Love those shaded pastels, Therese … they add that certain je ne sais quoi to these adorable quick and simple designs … gorgeous and downright cute! Wishing you a joy filled and blessed Christmas! Hugs, Anita 🙂
