I have some of my faves for 2018 to share so I’d better get started!
Some fun colour mixing on my first design using the beautiful Hope Stamp Set. I just loved adding the sentiment directly to the flower…. I know this isn’t for the feint hearted and not popular with everyone lol. You can see the video for this card HERE.
I’ve been a little addicted to ‘die cutting machine techniques’ recently and this card was all about embossing with the Sunburst Stencil and colouring with the new Ink Sprays, and you can see the video at my post HERE.
Yet another bright floral card (are you seeing a theme for my 2018 faves yet?) This time it’s the Folksy Florals creating an ‘almost wreath’ with a Cube Builder Stencil background. And you can see the video for this card at my blog post HERE.
Finally time for a ‘wide’ Tuxedo washi background and I finally got my hands on the incredible Fantasy Floral Dies….. sigh. You can see the video for this card HERE.

Wow, I think this was the year that you discovered oranges and pink make an awesome colour combo.
And that you can add grey to almost any project. I know I’ve really embraced grey this year.
So many great floras and the washi background was inspired. Mind you the grey cubed background was a great background as well. I can’t wait to see what you create in 2019. Love your video style engaging and informative. I’ve learnt so much from you this year. Particularly the give it a go and see where it might lead you approach you have.
As an aside I’ve just started to work the Neenah solar white paper and the marshmallow paper from Lavs(?), both are amazing, deferent, but the quality of the paper is amazing.

I love backgrounds made with embossing pastes and stencils. Texture and dimension are two things I like to incorporate into my work. These all look great!

Gorgeous works of art Therese. We have something in common. We both seem to love using the fall colors of orange and yellows on our cards. I love the new Artist Markers Set E and had to buy it. Altenew has terrific designers and I have learned many new techniques watching them. You are one of my favorites!
I like the dark background on the last one… I should step out of my comfort zone and do that for a scrapbook layout.
I love that tuxedo washi tape, it makes a beautiful background to really pop the flower.

It was like re-visiting a friend to see your cards again. The bright floral with the sunburst background was my favourite, and a technique I’d like to try using my stash.

Oh my gosh, I am so wishing I had a die cutter so I could do what you did with your cards! I love flowers & you used plenty of them! Yellow is also my favorite color in the whole wide world & you used lots of it. I love seeing what other people do with their Altenew stamps & they give me ideas for my card making.
