I am so excited about the new Altenew release that I just couldn’t stop making cards lol. If you are hopping along to celebrate then you should have arrived here from KATHLEEN’s wonderful Blog.
I have a total of 5 cards and 1 video to share today. Starting with some starry fun with the new Virgo Constellation Die Set, and some Watercolor Nebula Washi Tape.
In the background I spattered some Jet Black Cardstock with the Pure White Ink Spray and added some gems and an embossed sentiment from the Halftone Stars Stamp Set.
Next it’s time for one of the florals and this release is packed full of them, both stamps and the 3D dies!
I made a couple of the Hibiscus 3D Die flowers in some bright colours which makes my heart happy.
I added a simple Rouge sentiment from the Stained Glass Window Stamp Set and yes, another washi background, this time it’s the Peach Gold Washi Tape.
Next it’s time to get radical….. with the new Radical Hearts Cover Die and this one is a little bright so you had better pop your sunglasses on now….
and, no stamping or sentiment, that is totally radical right!
Now to get subtle and I used the Gift From Heaven Stamp Set to create a very easy ‘New Baby’ card.
Stamped in the Denim Gray ink and coloured with Prismacolor Pencils on some Spicy Yogurt Cardstock.
Finally it’s time to introduce the Angelique Motifs Stamp Set and co-ordinating Angelique Stencil Mask, which a new and clever product created by Altenew,

I love the Constellation die set, I have the Nebula Washi tape so I am anxious to make a few cards for friends and family. The Hibiscus die set is to die for!! Love all these cards! Can’t even pick a favorite. 🙂 Great the way you used washi tape for some of the backgrounds and I like the color choices for the heart cover plate. Shows a great way to make the cover plate work for teen and masculine valentine cards. Really helpful video. Love that Altenew is creating masks for us to use. I have vision issues that make fussy cutting really difficult. The new masks are a perfect solution for me. Thanks for all the great inspiration!

I LOVE your card using the Virgo Constellation Die Set. This made me smile for two reasons. First I am a Virgo and second reminded me of when I used to go look at stars through ex boyfriends telescope late at night.
