Today I share 2 cards using the beautiful new Washi tapes and Embossing Paste from Altenew, this post is part of a new release and if you are hopping along you should have arrived here from NICOLE’s amazing Blog!
My first card uses the Teal Shadow Washi Tape and I wanted to create a matching Embossing paste so I added some Sea Glass Dye Ink and it mixed beautifully!
I used the Molded Lines Stencil, and then popped up some flowers from the Adore You Stamp Set. The sentiment and hearts are from the Sweet Hearts Adhesive Wood Veneers.
For my second design I added the Embossing Paste directly to the card front with the Beveled Squares Stencil.
Then I used the Gold String Washi inside the card. Both the flower and the sentiment are from the Engraved Flowers Stamp Set.

I have always loved your creativity. And I have previously bought the washi tape. It is so beautiful. But I have a problem getting the roll of tape started without it ripping off in little pieces as I get it to unroll. Do you have any suggestions?
ooh, I think the trick is to go ‘slow’ and work all the way down the edge until it’s all free and then pull the tape back. Hope this is helpful, Crafty hugs, Therese
