Altenew Build-A-Flower: Bellflower Release Blog Hop & Giveaway + Video!

It’s time for the next Build-A-Flower release from Altenew and this one is the beautiful Bellflower.  We are hopping along to celebrate the release so you should have arrived here from SVITLANA’s amazing Blog!

Yep, it’s another gorgeous stamp layering set and today I decided to stamp the layers and cover the whole front of a card.  All I could think of was walking through a field of Bluebells….  and so I went with that for my inspiration.

Altenew - BAF Bellflower - Geometric Flowers - Therese Calvird (card video) 1 copy

The sentiment is from the Geometric Flowers Stamp Set and I heat embossed it on Dark Gray Cardstock.

    1. Your all over design is fabulous! I may have to try using blocks, too. Their more complex layering sets are great, but they really do take forever with the Misti.

  1. Love the colors you chose for your flowers. Enjoyed your video. Let us know how you like the microfiber cloth for stamp cleaning.

  2. Yep, it’s another gorgeous card using this beautiful set from Altenew ( how do they keep coming up with these great designs?) Love the colors and thanks for the inspiration!

  3. OH NO! Another Altenew flower layering set I want to add to my collection! So different from the other flowers I have already. Love the colors you chose- so bright and cheerful! Great how the flowers fill up the card front. Thank you for inspiring me!

  4. Gorgeous card! Lovely colors! Amazing new BAF set! Bell flowers have a special place in my heart…guess I’m going shopping! 💙✨💙✨💙

  5. So enjoyed your video! Wish all the other blogs did videos, too! Great card & loved the technique of using the pencils to help complete your stamped images.

    1. Beautiful card Therese. What’s a better sight than a field of bluebells? Great techniques, hints and tips as usual.. thank you.

  6. Such a beautiful, cheerful card. I really like this stamp set (wow… 4 layers seems a little daunting, but it sure makes a beautiful finished image) and Iove the coordinating blue colors you used, AND that splash of yellow front and center! Nicely done as always.

  7. Thank you for repeating the layering on your card! It will be nice to refer to your video when it’s time to create this beautiful flower on my cards and scrapbooks! Your card is absolutely lovely!

  8. Ditto as all the comments above. Love everything you do. May not always visit everyone’s blog, but yours is always the first I go to.

  9. Love the card, however I’m fascinated by your line, “when we lived in Guernsey”, I think there’s a blog post in that comment.

  10. At first I was thinking “meh” but the more you added the better it got until the last blue which really brought wonderful contrast and the little sprigs of leaves were perfect. Wonderful set, terrific card.

  11. Thank you for the great video and lovely card example. Seeing you build the layered stamp design and your process was wonderful!

  12. just beautiful – love the colors – thanks for the demo- I know now I want to get that stamp set too

  13. That is a beautiful card! And I love how simple that sentiment is. I’m going to have to check out that stamp set as well!

  14. I like that this months set is different style. Very pretty. Love this blue set. I have not used my blue set from altenew much. But the colors are so great. Can’t wait to get mine and play with it.

  15. Gorgeous card, Therese. I love the Bellflower (which I wasn’t familiar with), and the blues are beautiful. I’m going to have to put that ink set on my wish list!

  16. Those are some stunning blues!!! I love how you laid out all the blooms to cover the background. Such a lovely card.

  17. This new Build-A-Flower, Bellflower set is gorgeous! Your card design is very pretty Therese, love how you created a background using the set. You did an amazing job showcasing this new set.As always thanks for the inspiration!
