I am so excited to be joining The Flower Challenge as Guest Designer today! You know I adore my floral stamps and today I was asked to share my favourite flower? What a difficult decision, so what I went with was my favourite flower stamp or one of them anyway (wink).
Actually… I adore all of the Mondo flowers from Ellen Hutson but this Hydrangea really makes me happy, it reminds me of my Grandmother’s garden when I was growing up.
I coloured the flowers with my Inktense pencils which I wanted to be the only pop of colour on the card.
I added a Versatile Vase and a Circled Sentiment from Altenew. And you can watch the card come together in the video linked below.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Do you have a favourite flower? Or favourite flower stamp, I would love to know what it is!! Thanks so much for stopping by, Flowery hugs,

I’m working backwards today, Therese… YouTube beat WordPress into my email box!! No matter which order this gorgeous number is seen, it is so welcomed to my world this morning! Wonderful having you as our inspiration this month at The Flower Challenge… you ‘do’ flowers so beautifully – no matter the bloom! xx

Wow this is so beautiful Therese! I love that flower stamp and your colouring is fabulous as always too. Thank you so much for being our Guest Designer this month over at ‘The Flower Challenge ‘ 😉 hugs Viv xx
Stunning effect with those Intense on Neenah. Another beautiful card my dear. Hydrangeas remind me of my grandma’s house as well. I just loved all those giant clusters of flowers.
Looks like you’ve been in my garden this afternoon! Picking my hydrangea. Your flower stem is exactly the same shade of blue. I have a white bush too, but the blue is my favourite. Lovely card Therese. So delicate. Thank you for sharing. I’m off to watch the video now. ❤️
Hello Therese: We at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE are thrilled to have you as our Guest Designer for this month’s challenge and seeing your gorgeous card in our gallery is simply fabulous.
I have 5 Hydrangea bushes near the front wall of my house and about 6 more down the path to the street in the flower beds, the colors range from pink to lavender, gorgeous, plump blooms that are simply amazing.
Love the soft colors on your flower and that vase is just perfect to hold this bloom in place, I think I “NEED” this vase stamp set, LOL!!
Thank you again for being our Guest Stamper at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, I hope you come and visit us often.
Sending love.

It is always so hard to choose a favorite. The worst is being asked a favorite color. I don’t want to leave any colors out! Lol. I love your card and the hydrangea is a wonderful flower!
Wow! Beautiful coloring on the hydrangea!! My fav anytime is a rose 😊
I just love this card, Therese. Hydrangeas are one of favourite flowers, but I must admit I favour scented flowers, especially Gardenias and Star-fire Lilies. Right now, my hydrangeas are in full bloom and I have one plant that produces both blue and pink flowers on the same plant. It is definitely one of my favourites.
Blue-purple shade is my favorite hydrangea color! Beautifully colored using Inktense pencils!
The flowers pop off the neutral background and it looks stunning! Love the black splatters too!
Thank you so much for being our guest this month at The Flower Challenge!
Beautiful coloring….love the look!!! I am partial to orchids – because they last so long and come colors!
Absolutely beautiful! One of my all time favorite flowers is the peony! Though, I love plumeria too! We have tons of them around our home. 😉
What a beautiful card! I love how the hydrangeas are the only colored image. My favorite flowers are peonies. 🙂
Beautiful colouring on this hydrangea, we had two of the pink bushes in our old garden, reminds me to get some in this garden when I saw your card. My favourite flowers are calla lillies & daisies. Have a great week x
Wow! Love the delicateness if your colouring. I have such wonderful memories of hydrangeas around my grandmothers home. They were just the most wonderful flowers.
Choosing my favorite flower stamp seems a little bit like choosing my favorite person though. I’m quite taken by Altenew’s wallpaper flowers at the moment.
Cheers
Lisa
Firstly congrats on your GDT at The Flower Challenge, What a gorgeous card you have created Therese! My favorite has to be Freesia’s I just love how they smell and look! have a fab week hunny, hugs XoX
Your colouring is so beautiful. Looks great on the neutral background.
This is really pretty. Last home I lived in had enormous hydrangea on the north side of the house, they were huge and produced so many blooms that looked so much like the ones you created here!
I really love Stargazers, they were in my wedding bouquet and came from my aunts garden. All flowers are beautiful though! Love your coloring
So beautiful, Therese! I love hydrangeas and I have this stamp set as well ( of course). You’re inspiring me to take out my inktense pencils…
Marianne x
Hydrangeas are a favorite of mine too, but I have so many favorites! I love your color combination with the Inktense pencils and the pop of color you created coming from the neutral card!
Gorgeous Therese! I love hydrangeas. My favorite is the Poppy which reminds me of the beautiful poppies my Grandfather always grew.
So soft and beautiful! Love the hydrangea & love the card.
Gorgeous Card.
Fav flower? Tough choice I like so many! My gran had roses and would often pick one for me as I left her house so perhaps roses, but really I like anything with a lovely subtle scent. The only one I could say I don’t like is geraniums – something just doesn’t appeal! 😉
You and The Flower Challenge, Therese … what a wonderful combination! Your hydrangea is simply lovely … such gorgeous soft colouring … love how you made it the star of the show by leaving the other elements uncoloured! Now … to choose a favourite flower …! Hugs, Anita 🙂
This is just gorgeous Therese! My favourite flower is the tulip
This is luminescent! Gorgeous card xxx
I love the hydrangea flower too! Mind you, I would probably say I love all flowers, but certainly the hydrangea is up the top of the list! Your flowers are beautiful and sit so well in that gorgeous vase – so perfect!
Oh Therese, your hydrangea is beautiful, love the light colors you used. Thank you for the wonderful video too 🙂
Love this card! (and hydrangeas). You made using water color pencils look very approachable so thank you. And this stamp is absolutely gorgeous!
Gorgeous card Therese and I love the way you popped up the flowers. The hydrangeas are stunning with the beautiful soft colors! Thanks for being a guest designer this month at The Flower Challenge. Love your work.
I recently visited Nantucket Island and the hydrangeas are everywhere and they are gorgeous. Yours is gorgeous too, Therese, and I’m going to try my Inktense pencils to color one as soon as I get some crafting time.
just a stunning card Therese….we are so lucky to have had you as our GD this month at The Flower Challenge. You are so talented.
xKaren
I love your stunningly coloured Hydrangea Therese and the way you’ve given it a modern edge with the black and white stripes and the sentiment. Gorgeous!
