Today I share 2 cards using the Altenew Simply the Best Stamp Set. This is part of my Take 2 with Therese video series with Altenew and if you haven’t caught any of these videos before I have a link to my playlist with more inspiration HERE.
Today is part of a Stamp Highlight post for Altenew and I had such fun using this LARGE floral image!
I decided to use some of the Essential Rock Collection Paper Pack and realised that I actually didn’t do any colouring today, which is very unusual for me.
This is a clever stamp and die set as it comes in 2 parts and for my first design I simply used the smaller portion of the flower which I white heat embossed on some Velvet cardstock.
The sentiment for this card was from the same, Simply The Best Stamp Set.
I thought my second card could be used as a gift card as I added my design paper flower to a small square card base.
I added a torn Tuxedo Washi Tape background.
as well as a sentiment from the Wavy Roses stamp set and some Rock Collection Enamel Dots.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD on YouTube.

I hope you are inspired to use some design paper on your floral cards (Oh, and maybe try ‘no colouring’ too)! Til next time, Hugs, Other Supplies:

Both of these cards are stunning using that large flower, love the first design & colours the most out of the two. But would love to be able to make either of them myself x
Bright and bold cards!! Beautiful designs! 🙂
Just so you know someone hasn’t taken over my computer – yes, this IS me! You’ll understand this because I’m about to tell you that the RED is my favorite!!! shhhhh! don’t tell Mr. Grey, okay? Off to watch these beauties come to life!! xx
=]
The graphic designs are awesome! The pattern paper adds just the right amount of detail.
Wonderful stamp, in your hands exceptional cards, and great design!
Love them both Therese and it’s good to be able to use up some of the paper from the pads we all seem to hoard. Think the red card is my favourite. I’m always drawn to red even though blue is my favourite colour. Think it might be because I’m an Aries and I believe red is the associated colour.
Two wonderful bold cards! I am rather partial to the red blooms!
Gorgeous cards, Therese! This is going to become one of my most fave stamp sets for sure. Love your bold colors, the use of the pp for the first card, and your cool washi tear! Thanks for sharing some great ideas.
Love this idea. Perhaps if I made some flowers like this I would see a dent in my paper stash! (nah we know that’s not likely any time soon!!).
Such a lovely idea turned into cards. It’s an unusual stamp set that leads itself to dramatic images.
Cheers
Lisa
Love the graphic design of these cards!
Gorgeous cards, Therese! I’m trying to behave myself with this release, but you keep sharing all of your beautiful cards…oh well, it’s only money, right?
These are awesome, Therese!
You are the Queen of bold and graphic!!! I love the designs on both of these so much.
So stylish and bold, Therese … and so gorgeous! Had a ‘what no colouring’ moment, but that soon passed seeing these beauties come together!! Hugs, Anita 🙂
