I just had to play some more with the new release stamps from Ellen Hutson and today I wanted to share the Holiday Characters Stamp Set in a video. Did you see that I was recently part of the Blog Hop HERE to celebrate the release and you can check out the cards and video that I made for that.
Today I have two cards and a video to share starting with a Mondo Amaryllis Stamped background with a Classic Block Alpha Sentiment.
I added a simple sentiment from the Mondo Holly Stamp Set embossed on some black cardstock.
For my second card design I created some ‘blocks’ with Catherine Pooler Inks and added some images from the Holiday Characters Stamp Set.
And yet another embossed sentiment from the Mondo Holly Stamp Set.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

Simple yet lovely cards! 🙂 The block Christmas one is my fav!
Oh Therese, I just love them both … thanks for showing us even more possibilities with these fabulous sets!! I’m so ‘borrowing’ that color blocking!! xx
=]
These are so fun! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Really fun cards using such non traditional colours! Love the block card with the line art characters. So easy to mass produce using scraps of cardstock. Thanks for sharing more great ideas!
Oh, these are so FABULOUS! Love them!
Looks like the mojo has returned! I wasn’t going to buy any new Christmas stamps this year, but I have seen so many fantastic new ideas with this set that i may have to break my own rule, before the new season has even arrived. (Hopeless, I know).
So pleased to hear you sounding much better.
Hugs

Thanks for the inspiration since I need to get some Christmas cards created. I love both the block card design and the merry and bright design.
That first card is great! I love the bold colored alphas.
Oh these are so fun!
Love these bright, modern, fun cards. Very Merry!
I have started making some Christmas cards. The color blocking card is simple and so cute! Thanks for the idea.
Gorgeous cards again Therese, every card you make is just a work of art! 😉 Viv xx
Two amazing cards, Therese! I love the bold letters with the subtle flower background. Your color block card is so fun and has a sort of retro vibe to it!
The uncolored images with the pops of color look fabulous on both cards, Therese.
I really love those big block letters against the flower background. So beautiful and the little blocks of images are so cute!
WOW. Fab cards. Of course you coloured the blocks! I would have gone the quick route and used coloured cs! 🙂 if I had thought of this! Love the simple images on the colour and vis versa coloured sentiment on simple stamped background.
Those block letters pop so beautifully against the cool amaryllis background … stylish and deliciously contemporary! Love, love, love the line art holiday characters against the vibrant colour blocks … brilliant idea … one to CASE, I think … thank you!! Hugs, Anita 🙂
