Do you have a border die and need ideas for inspiration? Today I have 2 cards to share with just that!
For this month’s release at Altenew we are VIDEO hopping, but I had to make a few ‘extra’ cards and you get to see those here! Starting with a fun bear, Alten Riding By.
Floating along with some balloons from the Balloon Bunch Stamp Set.
And for something a little different I stamped a quick background with the beautiful Courageous You Stamp Set.
I framed it using the Circled Greetings: Hugs Die and added a couple of Antique Gold Sequins.
Finally my video hop cards and I had a die cutting expadanza with the Floral In ‘N’ Out Border Die.
A simple version with an Apothecary Label sentiment.
And an inlay die cut version
to which I added a simple sentiment from the Ornamental Bliss Stamp Set.

The video cards are both super stylish. I think the raised pink bits add to the card, so all your effort was worth it. Also, don’t stop using the Apothecary labels. They always look great.

Absolutely love the bear. He will put a smile on my face as I stamp him, I know that, so he’s a ‘must have’. I wasn’t going to buy the border die, but there you go, you’ve done it again and I just have to have it as I simply love the grey and white card. It’s so elegant. I just adore the simplicity. I already have the circle word dies, so I’m prepared to try out your second card too. Thank you once again Therese, always love what you do and your always an inspiration.
Thanks so much Delia, I think the bear is wonderful, and a stamp layering set too which makes him even cleverer! I think a set of the ‘grey and white’ border die cards would be amazing especially in a variety of colours and sentmients as a gift set!

I cringed a little bit when I saw all those tiny pieces of card stock that you inlayed back into the die, but it looks AMAZING!!!! Wonderful color choices. You always make me smile with your videos.

This is such a great technique to help us stretch our dies. The first card looks so elegant, and pretty easy to do (as long as the die cut machine cooperates of course 😀)
Yes, I totally hear you, though I have much better results since I’ve started using the Gemini Junior, it’s been wonderful. But I would never give up my Bigshot, the manual machine is great for techniques etc. Thanks so much Olive!
