How to No-Line Copic Colour a Beautiful Bouquet + Video!

No-Line colouring is easy right? Well it can be, and in my video today you can see how I coloured the new You Should Know bouquet from Ellen Hutson.

I am always asked lots of questions about no-line colouring and here are a couple of TIPS I would recommend… start small, try just one flower, pick one that you have coloured before and keep the packaging off to the side or restamp the image beside it in a darker ink so that you can see the details, use a light ink that is compatible with your medium…. it’s only paper!

I used Fadeout Ink today for this bloom.

I also blended my own matching cardstock to add the sentiment from That Thing You Did.

And finally some sweet Calming Aqua Nuvo enamel dots.

  1. This is so beautiful! The flower centres just pop off the card. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents.

  2. I love this card Therese. The colours are so pretty and the colouring just amazing. It’s truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing your tips. Always love your work and always learn something new. Thank you. Now to see the video. I’ve been otherwise occupied and am just catching up.

  3. Very pretty, Must look at buying some of the stamp pad that you used to stamp your design with, I too love to Copic colour. The BG colours are certainly one of my favourite colour combos to use also.

  4. Beautiful… and I did not know FadeOut was Copic compatible! Terrific highlight technique! TFS!
