Have you ever tried ‘layering’ stencils? Today I have a video sharing 2 easy ideas doing just that! But First, did you know that this is part of a Hop celebrating a new Stencil release from Altenew so you should have arrived here from the Altenew Blog!
I love my stencils, they are such a versatile (not to mention affordable) item to have in your stash! Today i thought I would go all ‘geometric’ on you….

Starting with the Mighty Corners Stencil. I used the Mixed Media inks with the Ink Blending Tool.

I love the way the multi layers look on the final design!

I did used the Featured Sentiments Die (again) with this Delicate Flower Bed sentiment.

My second card layers the Stripe Builder Stencil.

And both cards have little bouquets created with the Mini Delight: Petit Posy Set.

This time I added a simple sentiment from the Statement Flowers Stamp Set as well as a few scattered Enamel Dots.

You can see my video or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

Lovely cards. I admire the straight lines and color schemes.
I feel like I’ve said it before, buy I’ll say it again … you always have me at grey, my friend! Look how beautiful these are!
=]
Beautiful cards as always! Never tried stencils, don’t have any but after going through this blog hop I have a feeling I’m going to break down and get these. Thank you for the inspiration!
I love the pretty contrast of color in your card–the pretty pastels with the black and white. It feels super fresh and fun! Thanks for the cool inspiration Therese!
beautiful cards, I really enjoyed the video. thanks for sharing
That black and gray stripped card just sings! The color on the flowers is the perfect balance to the star background.
Great backgrounds for those little flowers!
I just can’t get enough of stencils these days, they make creating a card so effortless. I love the new designs.
So cute! And simple, clean and quick (except for the drying time that is 😉).
Thanks, Therese!
Yay, so glad you used the mighty corners. Fabulous cards Theres – I love how you made them the perfect backdrops for the little floral clusters.
Really Beautiful cards!!
Your cards are beautiful! I love how the bright flowers pop against the grey stripes
Very nice cards. I love ideas on how to use stencils. I have a lot of them.
Love your cards! The Petite Posy was the perfect floral image to put with your great stenciled backgrounds.
Love the corners stencil. So versatile!
Wow, more great cards. So many hops…so little time. LOL TFS
Fun, fun, fun! Love the stencils and how you used them!
Wonderful backgrounds from stencils. Pretty amazing. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Loving the stripes!
Neat stripes in gray and black tones.
Thanks for your tips and inspiration! They make me want more stencils.
Love your cards…anything with stripes or dots and you have my attention. The cards are so clean and elegant. Really like this stencil release.
These are so cool!! I think you could use the gray & black for a masculine card and putting something else on besides flowers!!
Very pretty! If I had just been given that corner stencil I wouldn’t have known what it was for. Thanks for sharing!
I didn’t think I would use the stripe stencil, but having seen it on a card, I changed my mind!
Beautiful cards Therese!
Beautiful cards, and great design–as always!
Really nice cards. Like your color choice. Final looks great. Tips & techniques so helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Love the look of those new stencils!
Theresa I love yur card as I always do. Your videos are so relaxing. Thanks for sharing them.
I love the black and gray with the POP of color with the flowers!
loved your use of off-setting to vary the looks!
beautiful cards as always, love them both!
Really beautiful cards … I love this graphic look
The dark grey stripes bring a lot of drama. Your video shows the different types of inks well. The pigment inks look great through the stencil.
Your designs are so inspiring. Love these beautiful cards!
Love your ideas here today Therese! The contrast of the round flower shapes works perfectly against the straight lines of your stencils – as do the colour contrasts! Perfectly made cards!
Great effects from these stencils, Therese! Maybe something to invest in! Love your cards! 🙂
Hola, Therese! Beautiful cards like always! 💜
Very pretty cards.. these stencils are amazing!!
Beautiful card.
Beautiful. Love the monotone background with the punch of colour from the posy.
I must admit I own stencils and many are unused some used only once! Yet I keep adding more to my collection! Having said all that I used one today for the first time.
Hi again Therese. LOVE LOVE LOVE the double grey card – love the other one too, but I’m like you, I do love my greys. How clever to move the stencils and the effect you got on the pink card was fantastic. Those cute little flowers were very sweet too. Love these new stencils – will certainly try to get the diagonal striped one you used but have my eye on a few of the others too. Please keep taking care. So lovely to hear you and watch you create again. Bev. XX
Beautiful cards Therese. I really love the second one. The pop of colour from the flowers looks awesome against the monochromatic background.
Love your cards they are beautiful.
Love the bold clean design of both cards. Thank you for showing designs with just one stencil each and flowers with just one color in the leaves. Seeing them, I realized that my mind automatically goes to coloring with a lot of detail but this was striking (and faster!) with just the one.
Very nice cards!
Thanks for sharing!
I love the pink card! It is beautiful
You always create the most beautiful cards Therese! I love both of them!
Both are beautiful but that grey one just jumps out at me –
So simple and so pretty!
I absolutely love geometric designs and these new stencils are wonderful. Your cards are so pretty. I think that Stripe Builder stencil is one of my favorites from this fantastic release.
Sweet combination of geometric and floral elements on same card!
Fabulous cards! I like the color of the stripes with the posies. Your cards are always wonderful and exciting!
Gorgeous cards! Love those stencils!
Nice.
I love the multi color stencil cards. Thanks for the video to show how you did that.
I love the gray scale stripes with the color pop of flowers. Thank you

Great cards!
I love geometric stamps, dies & stencils. The Stripe Builder is fabulous, as is the card you used making it. Thanks for the video Therese.
Thanks for sharing! I never know what to do with stripes other than a rainbow!
These cards are so sweet and pretty! I love the combination of geometric backgrounds with those pretty flowers.
The tan and black one speaks to me.
I love geometric stencils! They always look so clean and stunning! Your cards turned out great as always!!!

Nice idea. Good color combination. I like the second project with the corner flowers best.
I always like the CAS versions too! thanks so much
The gray stenciling is so dramatic and elegant, Therese.
