Multi stamping makes quick work, especially if you have a stamp positioning tool such as the MISTI.

I started with a simple black and white combo and I die cut a negative space window with the Apothecary Labels Nesting Die.

I also added a little Antique Gold Ink Spray and a Signature Words Die sentiment.

You could easily choose any colour palette but today I was feeling ‘blue’ so I chose the beautiful Dusk Ink.

This time I added a bold Waterbrush Hello Die sentiment and a sub sentiment from the Hello and Hugs Stamp Set.

  1. Do you know that Tulips are near and dear to me? The Parrot tulips are so elegant, and way more fancy than those simple whites I carried down the aisle!
    You’ve arranged them beautifully, Therese!

  2. Lovely cards Therese. Haven’t made a card like that in quite a while. They’re just beautiful. Isn’t stamping just an amazing way to create? So versatile. Sometimes we forget an individual stamped image doesn’t need to the focus. Thanks for the reminder. Stay safe ❤️

  3. These are beautiful cards and the designs show this parrot tulip to perfection! Parrot tulips are my favorite tulips!

  4. Great cards as always Therese, Love your work and this set is so realistic of the flower itself. Good job Altenew. This was a beautiful hop. Thanks everyone for sharing your beautiful talent.

  5. Wow- very creative and I wouldn’t have thought if it on my own. Reminds me of a toile fabric. Love the traditional blue one. TFS

  6. As usual, you’ve taken this new flower stamp set and given it a twist. Both these cards are very beautiful and I love that you have created a unique background. Such a timeless, versatile and elegant design.
    Cheers

  7. These parrot tulips really are a gorgeous stamp set & they are even more gorgeous in a garden. I like both the colours you used on your cards & the way you inset the die cut piece on the black & white one with the sentiment label.

  8. Your creations are beautiful! Such wonderful inspiration for this set. It would be perfect to use to make patterned paper or small gift wrapping.

  9. Wonderful – I love the idea of using this set as a background. You inspire my imagination. Thank you!

  10. Oh my word, Therese! Love these cards and what a great way to mass produce so you have several in your stash! Love your color palettes and the card designs are wonderful!!

  11. Wow!! Last but not least!! I love love the black and white card. It can be used for so many occasions. The blue ink used in your second card is a beautiful shade. I am ordering it today!!

  12. I’ve fallen in love with the idea of using the parrot tulip to create a background. Color possibilities are endless!

  13. Wow! I like this set as much for creating a background as for displaying a beautiful layered flower. You and the other designers have shown such great multiple uses of this amazing BAF set.

Thanks for visiting! I'd love to hear what you have to say.
