Alright, so inspiration where do you find it? Today I wanted to create some white watercolour Cosmos flowers and when I did a search on Pinterest I found this most amazing card HERE so a Big Thank You for the inspiration! And so my whole Watercolor Pencil background changed from grey to green lol.

I also wanted to create my own watercolour effect on the flowers and you can watch the process in the video linked below.

Beautiful white cosmos, love the spring color backgrounds! These flowers are so pretty even without all the layers, thanks for another awesome video tutorial!
Beautiful! Your light touch for the flower and background REALLY makes a difference. My attempt looks like a 2 year old cat did the coloring is now in the trash. Try, try, again, with LESS pressure. It’s only paper, right?
I have loved Cosmos since I was a child, my mom always planted one huge section of our garden with them. These dies perfectly capture the delicate beauty of the flower.
This is lovely! I need a sympathy card ASAP and wouldn’t this be perfect. I was already thinking I should check some of my craft a flower sets to see if I could use one of them when you mentioned it! Thank you! You always inspire! I do love the look of this set and am thinking it would be a good addition to the stash! LOL

Beautiful in the white!
Such a beautiful background and a beautiful card.
Gorgeous card!! I love the idea of using just the base layer of these sets. This gave me so much inspiration!
WOW. Love the background. Tip to tip watercolouring is one of my fav ways to watercolour – I feel I have more control. Not sure I have ever been brave enough to use black! Good for you, it gives a stunning result. Yes I did find time to watch the video while waiting for my youngest to finish coaching netball tonight, I had 5 minutes! I finished my walk early.
your card is gorgeous; however i was unable to use your link to the color pencils
thanks for letting me know I will check it out! It is possible to use any of my links to get to the store and then search for the product you need… though that’s the long and clunky way round lol.
Stunning white flowers, Therese! I’m going to try that pretty background!! Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
