Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Coral Sunset Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Have you ever used just part of an image in your designs? This is a great way to get a different look from your stamps. But first…

Welcome back, it’s time for another Paint-A-Flower release from Altenew and this one is the beautiful Coral Sunset Outline Stamp Set. Did you arrive here from KEREN’s fabulous Blog? if you did, then you are in the right place!

Paint-A-Flowers are not just for painting, today I thought it would be fun to colour this image with Artist Markers and wanted to change it up by only using part of the image in my card deisgn.

I used the Create-A-Wreath Die to make a focal point from my image and popped up the round frame with fun foam. And I used Geo Steps 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to some Dark Gray Cardstock in the background.

My sentiment is from the Flower Vine set and I die cut it with one of the Featured Sentiments Dies.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

  1. Beautiful card Therese. Love the overall design and that background is just amazing. Thank you for sharing this lovely creation with us.

  2. What a wonderful design, Therese! I love the dark gray BG with that highlighted portion of the stamp. Just beautiful!!

  3. Love this gorgeous card design. A clever and beautiful way to add a bit of dimension to a card!

  4. What a pretty card! I love the contrast of the circle cut images and the hard edge of the diamond embossing. Your videos are always so fun and informative.

  5. Wow! Such a beautiful card. Just love all the elements and the 3-D embossed panel is so wonderful. You always add so many little bits to make your cards so special. Can’t wait to watch the video when I get home today.
    Cheers
    Lisa

  6. Besides making beautiful cards to inspire us, I could listen to Therese just read an instruction manual–love your wonderful accent and your dialogue while you paint or color brightens my day! Super card.

  7. Such a gorgeous card Therese. The background compliments the image beautifully.
Thank you for the wonderful inspiration!
    Keep well

  8. Wow! I love everything about the card – the background, the color choices, the dimension – everything! I never would have thought to pop up the frame and it is an amazing choice. Thanks for days of inspiration.

  9. Very beautiful. I love the embossed gray background, the circle arrangement for your flowers and the colors you used.

  10. Beautiful card! I’m definitely going to try this for the bigger stamps which intimidate me because of how much colouring they need!

  11. Another beautiful card.

Um cough cough I have used part of a stamped image usually cause I have mucked up somewhere with the colouring and don’t want to waste what I have already done! Does that count?

  12. I love the double circle idea….and just when I thought I had all the flower stamp sets I needed up pops another one to add to my collection. Thanks Therese.

  13. I watched the Youtube video, great job. I appreciate you taking the time to go through your thought process, like coloring more than you may use. The card came out so lovely.

  14. I enjoyed your video- always so nice to visit you and share crafting with you! I LOVE this card. I have that embossing folder and haven’t used it much- kind of stuck. I like the dark background and love this new floral stamp cut out with the circle die AND framed! So pretty!

  15. Thank you for this absolutely stunning card!! I enjoyed your video as I wasn’t sure how designers were creating stamped images within their stamped images, now I know, color it all first then cut!

  16. Apart from your fabulous colouring, Therese, which is always awesome to watch … I love how you chose to showcase this PAF with the frame and circle against all that texture. It’s amazing how the embossing makes the grey appear to have different shades according to it’s depth! Hugs, Anita 🙂

Thanks for visiting! I'd love to hear what you have to say.
