It is time to ‘HOT’ things up around here! I am feeling cool this Winter, since returning from the heat of the Outback so I am bringing on my own HEAT…….
You may have noticed that I caved and bought a ‘Gemini Foilpress’ and so far so good, I am loving the look, especially when companies like Pinkfresh Studio are providing such incredible products to play with.
HOT TIP! If you don’t have a hot foil plate then you can just as easily heat emboss your image in gold and colour it with a stencil or your chosen medium!!
I started with some simple modern blended stripes.
To which I added a gold Joyful Peonies Hotfoil Plate… it looks like letterpress!
My next design uses the coordinating Joyful Peonies Stencil,
the 5 layers were so easy to line up.
But I did have to add a little extra sparkle with some Antique Gold Sequins from Altenew.
