Do you want an easy way to add a ‘texture’ look to your stamping? Today I have fun doing just that!

I made an extra card today. It was one of those that I just had to ‘get out of my head’. Using this fabulous Bird Of the Woods Bundle.
And some bright bold colours… it’s Warhol like lol. Easy to create with a simple sentiment from the Fresh Bloom Stamp Set.
My next 2 cards are the reason I am here today. I had fun adding some easy ‘texture effects’ to this Floral Thanks Set.
I started out with some Pigment inks….
And then moved onto the Dye inks.
Both cards had a spattering of Satin White Sequins added.

Wonderful cards. I love that texture stamping technique — gotta give that a try! I laughed when you said you were going for the “look of imperfection” (mind if I use that?). Sorry to disappoint, but you achieved perfection anyway!
Thank you for the video and tip for adding dimension with stamping with a darker color of ink. In Japan at the tomb of Ieyasu Tokugawa, the artists and artisans purposefully made imperfections in their works so as not to offend the gods. That’s not my motivation, but I do leave slight imperfections in my card creations as well. A friend once told me that the best thing to do, as you showed in your video, is to be creative in covering up our mistakes.
