Have you ever added Texture to a design? It’s so easy to do and what I share today is just the tip of the iceberg!

For both card designs I used the beautiful Craft Your Life Project Kit: Silk Art. It has a wonderful HUGE silhouette style flower as well as coordinating dies, colouring stencils and of course the 3D embossing folder, it’s the perfect kit for these techniques!
BUT what if you don’t have a kit like this? You can still achieve amazing texture results, why not try colouring or stencilling a bouquet and 3D emboss the whole panel? I did that with this card in this VIDEO right HERE.
My first idea was inspired by a recent card I created HERE. I had many requests to share how I made it so, by request here we go!
The flower was stamped and coloured with the Woodless Coloring Pencils. These pencils themselves add ‘texture’ but the real WOW comes when you coordinate it with the 3D embossing folder. It’s the perfect match!
I kept it simple by adding the Bold Thanks die cut into some beautiful Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock.
My second idea was much quicker as I used the Simple Coloring Stencil Set to quickly colour the image.
I embossed this too to add 3D texture but also used some cute glitter for ‘extra’ texture lol.
I used the Nesting Hearts to create a window and added a quick sentiment from the Bold Sentiments Stamp Set.
