Did you know you can mix Geometric Shapes with floral designs? Today I share a beautiful floral card with some added circles…. and do you know why?
It’s because, that’s we’ve been asked to join by The Flower Challenge this month! I feel so lucky to be invited back as a Guest Designer, how did they know that I love flowers?
I wanted to do something a little different today, so I used the Fine Rings: Circles to create a ‘geometric pattern’ for my background.
The Gold Dust Hot Foil adds just a little ‘extra’ shine to the circles and the sentiment (and the centre of the flower).
But the Craft-A-Flower: Magnolia is still the star of the show! I did some simple layering using the Gel Printing Soft Washes Paper Pack… this is truly my ‘go to’ at the moment lol.

YOWZER! simply GORGEOUS! the flower and leaf colors are terrific. those fine line circles were perfect to break up some white space but also highlight the sentiment– GENIUS!

Got to warm up to markers- I prefer more watercolor muted colors!
Love the rose dies! Are they available?
Hi Anne, I love pencils too, but they do take longer to colour with for me. But what I love is being able to add pencil for detail work after colouring with my markers.
