Are You Ready for the Next Sneak Peek into the Ellen Hutson Release!

Did you know that you can colour with pencils on coloured cardstock? Let’s take it one step further and try it on ink blended cardstock!

Since I got the large Blending Tools I’ve been blending ‘all the things’ and today is no different lol. And the Nature Walk Stamp Set, with it’s fun images, was perfect to use for this technique.

I have been enjoying colouring with Prismacolor Pencils recently and have always loved colouring on coloured cardstock and design paper. But I think this is the first time I’ve coloured on a blended background… and I love the result!

My next card has a decorative Circle window.

A great way to use small images is to repeat stamp them. I could then die cut them out and add them behind the window so that my snail could hide quietly.

I hope that you enjoyed this little sneak peek. And don’t worry it won’t be long til you can get these at the Ellen Hutson online store. I’ll be back tomorrow with another peek….. Big hugs,

    1. I felt like I struggled with that design but didn’t have time to ‘re-work’ it, so glad you like it Lisa, sometimes we are too hard on ourselves lol.

  1. Both fabulous cards! The colouring on blended cardstock looks great and no wonder the snail is taking his time in that wonderful garden.

  2. Great cards. Love the window card with the snail. It’s a great colour combo. Blue and yellow is always successful, but I love this mustardy shade ❤️

    1. That Stardust colour from Concord & 9th is one of my absolute faves, I just caved and bought the matching ink which is on it’s way to me now (oops).

  3. Your colouring on the blended card is beautiful I never would have thought of it.The little snail i so cute and your funghi look fabulous against that gorgeous background.
