I’ve been waiting for this release since the sneak peek at the convention earlier this year… Do you know what it is?
But first, this post is part of a Hop celebrating a new release from Altenew so you should have arrived here from LAURAJANE’s wonderful Blog.
Card #1 – Double Rainbow
You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy these paints from Altenew! I had such fun playing with the Artists’ Gouache, and all I did was paint some bright stripes! I’ve never used Gouache before and love the bright bold colours and because they are opaque it was really quick and easy to create a quick rainbow background.
I used the widest of the Round Brushes and did a simple stripe for each colour. And what could be better than adding a Color Bands rainbow to a rainbow lol.
And this definitely had to be a celebratory card so I used the Sweet Sentiments Die Set for the sentiment.
Card #2 – Let’s Eat Cake
For my second design I used some simple stipes yet again, but this time I made a cake! Like I said, it doesn’t get any easier than this.
I created a small bouquet using the Amazing You Stamp Set.
As well as a beautiful sentiment from the Paint-A-Flower: Carnations set.
