Beware, they are addictive😉! Today, I thought it would be fun to share some ‘his and hers’ Valentine’s designs, but you could easily change up the colours and sentiments to suit any occasion.
This is part of my Take 2 Series with Altenew and I’m so excited to be back with another video today.
Card #1 – For the Men!
You may already know that I like to keep masculine cards clean & simple and use bright colours. Today’s example is no different, except that I made it a shaped card using the Soda Top Nesting Die Set.
PRO TIP: Why not layer the nesting dies on top of the design, you already know they are going to coordinate perfectly! Today’s card has a panel created with the Climbing Leaves stamp and die Bundle, with some simple Artist Marker colouring.
I also added a Halftone heart (for Valentines) and a Versatile Greetings Die cut sentiment.
Card #2 – For the Girls!
Of course I had to use the Halftone Hearts Nesting Die Set for the Girls.
But this time I created a background using the Doodle Bouquet Stamp Set. It was so quick and easy to colour with the coordinating Simple Coloring Stencil. But it looks like it took me ages (wink).
BONUS TIP: Why not make these into Gift Tags, simply punch a hole and add some twine. And they are ready to go to add to a Valentine’s gift.

I could just copy and paste what Michele said because that’s just how I felt about your sharped cards. I don’t make them often but I’m anxious to do some now. That soda top die is not one I’ve seen before and it makes a great card.
It’s quite a different shape but so fun, especially for a masculine design. Remember all those Sizzix or MFT nesting shapes we used to have?
