Have you ever Hot Foiled a ‘regular thin die’? Did you notice how fine the lines are? Well, there is something you can do…
Join me at Ellen Hutson to see my tips to create these 2 FUN Birthday cards.

And did you notice? These cards are similar but different. It’s great to be able to stretch our regular dies and use them as intended…

OR, take it that little step further and Hot Foil with them. But, what’s the Magic Trick, to widen the lines? It’s a simple piece of acetate (I used heat resistant) layered between the hot foil stamp/die and hot foil. It’s true!

I was inspired by Christine Stokes and her fabulous video right HERE!
You can find everything I used in today’s cards at Ellen Hutson. Until next time, Hugs,

Also, just in case you want to do a little shopping I’ve added the links (some of them are affiliate links which means that I will receive a small portion of the sale at no extra cost to you). I truly appreciate your support of my card adventures!
It’s a brilliant technique Terese. Never seen it before. It’s going to be fun trying out different designs.
Yay! Thank you Dee!
More magic, and magical cards – you spoil us!

hahaha you know how we all love a bit of magic lol.
I hadn’t heard of this. Great tip, will make dies more useful. I will definitely try this.
It’s a great technique and it’s just a matter of working out which dies work best with which sandwich/ paper/ foil etc. I know you will rock it as you are a technique guru!
